“Dear very friendly people of hotel the Cow Hollow! Thank you for a wonderfull stay in your lovely hotel last weekend. Me and my son Kix truly enjoyed a nice stay. Your service was excellent and our room was nice and cosy. The breakfast service in our room was a nice surprise for us with tastefull items every day. Also tea with cookies in the evening is such a nice thing to do. We enjoyed it every evening. I will for sure recommend your place for people visiting Manchester, with or without children ?”

“We held one of our quarterly events at the double tree Hilton in Manchester. It was the first time using the event space and the staff were extremely attentive! They made the day fantastic. A big thank you to Hannah and Stephanie who supported us during the day. The food was great, it was healthy and varied and we even stayed the evening before and the rooms were lovely. Thank you and will definitely be coming back to host another session here.”

“Stayed here for 1 night when visiting Manchester for the football! ⚽️Perfect location, great value for money and the bar downstairs is vibey and quite busy, even on weekdays! ?The only thing missing in the room was a fridge and a safe. It’s an ideal hotel for one night or a weekend break. ?”

“Room was perfect, breakfast plate was cold other than that fine.I did notice a number of middle Eastern families so suspect the hotel is a migrant hotel. However their presence was fairly discrete and of no major issue.Welcome was great and dinner was available until 2230.Very quiet for a central location”

“Very, very happy with our stay here. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and loved the little touches like the turn down service and the cookies. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Highly recommend and would love to stay again one day.”

“Great hotel, perfect for our one night stay. The room was clean and quiet and the food was great. Location is great too, the 02 Apollo is literally 10 min walk away. Ample on site parking too. We’d definitely stay here again.”

“The room was very spacious only downside was that one of the windows would not open at all.The breakfast was really goodBut the only thing that put a damper on this stay was thatI had an item missing from my room and the management team did not resolve this issue or even apologised at all”

“This is a superior hotel literally on the rim of the Manchester England international airport. One exit goes right to our terminal, indoor walking. ..Large flatscreen, huge bed. Very comfortable and the bathroom is big too. But , no USB charging ports. Just the std 220v plug. I have the adapter, but just the one , so charging everything tonight I Will need management. We fly very early, so we walked to the TSA point for EASYJET to look for problems. A test run. We think we are set. 2 alarms. ;). Tomorrow. Since I am here, there is also a nice bar on the reception level and a full restaurant opens at five. We made a reservation. There was a long line. Dinner was very good and the window we sat at is right below our room, five floors apart.”

“Living in France, I manage to get back to Manchester once every six months and usually eat here. Yet again I was not disappointed with the selection of food, the ambiance and the friendly group of waiters and waitresses especially the exquisite Kat. See you again soon I hope.”

“Wonderful location just 3 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station and 10 minutes walk into the shopping district. We stayed in a Premier Inn Plus room which was so worth the extra few pounds. Clean and very comfortable bed and bedding. Highly ”

“Comfy beds, room clean and the staff are helpful. There’s a car park just across the road also which is very handy for business if traveling round. I also love the fact the cleaners angle the shower head ever time they’ve been in so when you turn the shower on you are immediately soaked though the doors of the shower. It was generally quite funny.”

“I had a one night stay here whilst in Manchester on business. There was a slight queue when checking in, but Solange on reception was an absolute delight. She asked about my journey and how I was - she really made me feel welcome, and I was so grateful for the chocolate treat! My room was 703 - back of the hotel, it was very quiet despite being so centrally located near Manchester Central. The room was quite small and the bathroom was tiny, there were quite a few scuffs on the walls due to the amount of people using the room. Despite this, it was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy, air con worked well and the shower was great. The hairdryer could do with replacing - basically no power and not hot. Breakfast the next morning was of a typical Premier Inn standard - all of the appropriate temperature, staff were very friendly. There are loads of restaurants, bars and shops within a short walk. It was a short Uber journey to Manchester Piccadilly. I paid £58 including breakfast which I felt was very good value. I’d be quite happy to stay here again if going out in Manchester or visiting for business.”

“I wanted somewhere close to the Bridgewater hall but less pricey than the Midland Check in was smooth.Receptionist was helpful.Room was clean.Bathroom was accessible and huge. On the hole very quiet...some corridor noise for around 10mins at 10.30pm but it settled. No street noise.Comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely.”

“Stayed here with my wife for a spa weekend and had a great time.We loved the Spa facilities and the staff were friendly and helpful and it wasn’t too crowded even on a Friday afternoon, and we both had the back massages which were good although the guy who did mine never spoke the whole time but the lady who did my wife’s massage was really chatty and friendly so I was obviously unlucky. Our room was a little tired around the edges but was clean and tidy with a huge bed that was very comfortable so no issues there. We ate at the Hotel Restaurant as part of our deal and after reading a few reviews we were a bit worried but the food was excellent, especially the Salmon starter and chicken main meals and we were looked after by the excellent Maddie who did a great job and was chatty and was genuinely interested in us as Customers which doesn’t happen very often. Breakfast was really good except for the eggs which had been left too long and were like rubber but maybe we were just unlucky that day so overall we thought the Hotel was excellent. The only slight downside was the reception staff could have been a bit warmer checking in and out but maybe they were just having a bad day. Bar staff were excellent. Overall 9/10.Would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a well apointed hotel for a 3* one. The accommodation is generous including a fridge; the sofa in the room was a welcome improvement on the one chair that one frequently gets in 4* accommodation. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Really noting to fault except that the food was adequate rather than being commendable, hence 4 not 5 stars. Overall very good value for money though I would eat elsewhere if staying again.”

“Thomas checked us in yesterday, absolutely lovely gentleman, friendly and helpful. As a first point of contact for the public an absolute asset to the company.Caz checked us out this morning, another very helpful pleasant lady. The staff are a credit to this hotel. Will definitely stay here again!Rooms: Clean and spaciousNearby activities: Trafford centre straight across the street. Close to tram to and from airport!”

“Clean warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but all you can eat is blocked by the fact you have to order it rather than a buffet and serving food was very very slow and there were only 8-10 people in at the time we arrived.Walkability: Good location and cheapFood & drinks: Served in the neighboring bar all you can eat breakfast is blocked by very slow service as it's not a buffet so don't expect a second round.”

“We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The service was fantastic. The breakfast was great and made a pleasant change from the full English. It was lovely to be able to take the family dog as well as my wife's guide dog. There was only one tiny criticism I will mention and that is, they could have done with slightly more space between the bed and the wall, so you can get into bed from both sides!! Bottom line, we will return to the hotel in the future and we do fully recommend!!”

“Sparkle weekend so very busy and no seats available outside. Had the JW Lees bitter which was good. Ordered tapas which was excellent and not too expensive. Bar staff all great, especially Ian ?”

“I was impressed by how quiet my room was despite being on the first floor and near the conference spaces. I could not hear banging doors or bathroom wooshes of water like in other hotels. A pleasant surprise for an inner-city hotel! I was in a standard room, which was quite basic by Novotel and four star standards to be honest. There were no bathroom amenities other than soaps and shampoo attached to the wall, no minibar, and only instant coffee / tea. So if amenities are important to you, book the next category up. Breakfast was yum with a decent range of options and, of course, the full English breakfast was delicious (the bacon!). Well worth including if you can get a good rate.”

“Went to the spa inside the hotel, had a lovely time. Enjoyed the facilities and treatments. Spent some good quality time with my mum for her 50th birthday. Would recommend and would definitely go again. There was a gym, steam room, sauna, showers, pool, massages/treatments, drinks and snacks (no food)Nearby activities: Gym, steam room, sauna, showers, pool, massages, drinks and snacks (no food)”

“We choose this hotel because of its central location - perfect for the varieties things we wanted to do in Manchester. The staff were very helpful and although the downstairs bar area was very busy and quiet noisy the upstairs (we were on the 4th floor) rooms were quiet. The room was also nicely decorated and very clean.”

“Perfect for a golf getaway. Ten minutes from Manchester Centre if you are planing a night out. All in all a great location.Rooms are dated but are good enough (just) and clean and tidy with all amenities.Staff are very friendly.Gym is excellent.”

“Had a 1 night stay here...it's a great location next to cinema and food halls. The room was clean and needed a little paint touch up. But on the whole it's was good for what we needed it for.”

“I've stayed in a few Travelodges and this had everything I needed. The interior is a little old compared to the newer ones but the reception team was friendly and helpful. The location was easy to get to and there is a paid car park onsite. Close by, there is a bus stop with buses to town. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.”

“The hotel is decent and very clean, my friends booked the hotel for a night out for us all and not gonna lie the beds are actually really comfy! The staff are ok, friendly and whatnot. The key cards however don't seem to work so well and the cars lock on the 4th floor is semi broken and doesn't work straight away, takes around 3-4 tries before the door to unlock but overall the building, the rooms and staff are very decent! Our stay was great!”

“Slept here last November because of a student trip from HAN university (netherlands) everything was well organised, everything was nice and clean, staff was super friendly! Price-wise I don't know, because it was paid by school! And also convenient, it was on the edge of Manchester city centreSeeing me (if I have to sleep in Manchester again) again!”

“Solid 9/10, clean room, lovely and super helpful staff, quite considering where it is and reasonable price, only negative was the evening food was a lil hit and miss, couple of times my food was over cooked but considering it's the front of house staff cooking I won't complain to hard, maybe an extra set of hands on the weekend wouldn't be the worst ideaBut overall, enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again”

“We stay here the night before we travel as it cuts down any problems the day before. It’s clean, modern and everything is the same each time. The breakfast and evening meals are fine, we make sure we relax and enjoy the evening, try to make it the start of ur holiday. The prices have all gone up a bit, but not enough to stop us booking. Works for us. Another smooth stay.”

“Having read previous reviews the morning before I left, I was a bit worried about what to expect. I should not have worried. The staff were fantastic, the room and bathroom were spotless and the hotel smelt lovely. I had an evening meal and sweet. It was cooked to order and was great. I haven't had a Knickerbocker glory for years. The breakfast was good. The selection of fruit, cereal, breads, milks, drinks and cooked items were extensive. If you wanted to you could even take a hot drink away with you. The housekeeping staff were also very pleasant. I speak as I find and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Oh, the AO Arena is literally 2 minutes up the road.”
