“Decent enough, and location works for being both close and far enough from the centre. The rooms have seen some wars! Not your ordinary venue! And not for the faint hearted.”

“1st time staying here. Had been bought as a present to allow us to go to old Trafford. 5 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop. From 1st impression the place was great. All the staff were very friendly nothing too much bother. Room on the 6th(top) floor gave us wonderful views over the city. Room was very clean with an excellent supply of tea coffee hot chocolate and kit kats. Even a pod coffee maker. No noise bothered us too. Breakfast buffet was good value. The evening meals were good too. Loved the freshly made pizzas. A main, side or dessert for £14.95 was great value. A well stocked bar with lots of choice. It was about 40min walk to old Trafford. A Tesco express 2 minutes away for anything you needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Well done Travel Lodge.Walkability: Stayed for a football game at old Trafford. It was about 40mins casual walk. Tram stop only 5 mins from hotel.Food & drinks: Excellent food and drink. Freshly made to order. Pizzas were great. Meal deal was good value. Well stocked bar.”

“Absolutely stunning hotel in the true heart of Manchester, we had a superior room and every detail was thoughtfully considered. Worst part was having to leave after only one night. Breakfast was food, I was NOT paid for this review, I must make that clear.

Rooms: There were many rooms

Nearby activities: Sainsbury's and TK MAXX

Safety: Zero incidents

Walkability: Yes

Food and drinks: Present

Noteworthy details: The smell did pass”
