“I was very happy with the service today at st David's vets in pentywn today by Ellie hurved she was very helpful and professional and took her time to make our dog Coco ( white pocket bully )feel comfortable as she is a nervous dog. I would definitely recommend Ellie to everyone as she really put us at ease and Coco hopefully we will see her again when visiting the vets in future”

“Disappointed and let down as a patient. I recently had an appointment at Whitchurch Road Surgery and left feeling disrespected and upset. The GP showed no compassion or understanding, and I felt dismissed rather than cared for. During the appointment, I felt like the doctor thought she was wasting her time with me. This was especially hard because I’m already dealing with pain. As an NHS worker myself, I always treat patients with dignity, respect, kindness, and compassion—values I didn’t experience here. It’s disappointing to be treated this way, and I hope the surgery takes this feedback seriously. Patients deserve better. That said, I want to be fair. I believe this is a good GP surgery overall. The administrative staff are always kind and helpful, and every other GP I’ve seen there has been respectful, compassionate, and professional. My past experiences at this practice have been very positive—this one was the exception.”

“Dr Everest is absolutely amazing, has always been happy to listen and explains everything so clearly. His care has really changed my life.The reception staff can be brisk at times, but they're ok.I'd recommend avoiding Dr Vickers at all costs though and she's the reason I've taken a star off my review. She's in the past attempted to take me off medications that other GPs have told me I'll likely need to be on for life. Incorrectly informed me that "most women have no adverse reaction to the contraceptive pill". Completely dismissive of any the concerns I had regarding it. On a physical exam she completely missed my kidneys, and I had to pretend she was pressing on them to get any care for my issue.I absolutely refuse to see her again, she's dismissive and doesn't care about women's issues at all. If I'm booking regarding them, I'll actively ask for a male doctor to make sure I don't see her.”

“I hate dentists so when I was due a check up I was sick with worry. I had never been to this practice before and I must say it was a pleasent PAIN FREE experience. After my first check up they carried out some xrays and saw that I needed two fillings. Grrr The appointment was made for two weeks time and I nearly cancelled it again and again as I couldn't bare the thought of that wretched drill! I decided in the end to be brave and attend the appointment. When I got there the receptionist remembered me from the previous appointment and the fact that I was a nervous patient. She explained this to the dentist and his assistant. Who both treated me so nicely throughout my treatment. The nurse held my hand when the dentist gave me the injection and the dentist told me to raise my hand whenever I wanted him to stop. I was very brave and the treatment was completed. It was so lovely to have such kind people looking after me. My fear of dentists has no reduced..... Well ever so slightly anyway!”
