“Called in to look for a wedding renewal card i was about to give up when a saw a staff member restocking I went over and spoke to a friendly young lady called kat,who id like to thank for being so helpful as she stopped what she was doing and went over and looked much to my suprise she found a lovely card for me i left happy and i must say the store is well stocked and clean”

“Me and my wife went for a wonder round during the late evening time. Parkgate was very quiet. Not many people around. Not a fan of going shopping but enjoyed it on this particular night as it was very quiet. Didn't have to queue in any of shops we went in. Rather pleasant night to be honest so to anyone going. Go on a evening and it's so much relaxed. Plenty of places to get parked up and maked life so much less stressful.”

“The staff always say hello and greet customers when you walk into this store which I think is a nice touch They're also very attentive if you need help but at the same time if you tell them you're ok they will leave you alone to get on with it.A bonus of this particular store is that they have the ability to take payment anywhere on the shop floor so you don't have to stand and queue at the till. Most often than not they have a bargain buy available min 30% off of retail price. I bought a pair of Nike 2021 for just 70 quid rather than 150Bought many pairs of trainers in the past never had any issues here. Definitely worth a visit”

“I visited Primark at park gate on Sunday. My mobility is very limited and I walk with a stick. A young girl called Hanna asked me at the door if I needed any help. I just wanted to return a couple of black dresses and get some socks for my grandson. She was so kind and attentive she even went to the childrens section to get me some socks for my new grandson. She carried my heavy bags from the till upstairs and down to the shop entrance. I told her that I was sorry if she had gotten in trouble for helping me and she said not at all she was just happy to help me. If she could get some recognition for her display of kindness I would be very grateful. I just thought you needed to know about younger people on the shop floor and their attitude. “Great little store that's packed with a great selection of clothes. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful (though not at all intrusive). Changing rooms are a good size with decent mirrors if you want to try on before purchasing. Small downside is that there isn't a lot of room to manoeuvre (especially if you are in a wheelchair or have a pram) however staff will help wherever they can. ”

“Well stocked River Island in Parkgate. Staff are absolutely fantastic friendly and helpful going in to the back to retrieve stock when most stores don't have such a thing!Good sales section too with plenty of bargains.”

“Large clean store catering for women and girls clothing didn't notice anything for the male of the species but i could be wrong. Has a section for the larger lady as well as shoes and accessories. Got a couple of nice roomy tops the cashier was pleasant and friendly. They have got a sale on at the moment, worth a look round.”

Knowledgeable about the goods they sell both brand named and their own brand, the market is well situated at the corner of the market Square. I also have a boots store card that I make savings on as it accumulates points every time I spend money then every now and again I cash in my points!”

“Large store over 2 floors. Escalator and lifts available. Sells women and mens clothing downstairs, baby and kids are up. Sells a range of household goods, bedding, electrical appliances, curtains etc. The towels wash well also has bathroom accessories. Upstairs are headphones, tellys, gaming etc. Also sells toys ,books, and baby equipment. There is a cafe upstairs and the loos are there at the far end.”

“Clean, and tidy , friendly, second hand shop quality clothes recycled , washed pressed and sorted in to quality, only the best goes onto the rails men's fashions women's etc”

“Great variety of shops and restaurants with ample parking, my only criticism is it could do with more roads in and out as congestion can build up, but it has good public transport services too.”

“What a massive toy shop! I’ve been in other Smyths branches locally, but none are as truly vast as the Rotherham shop.Feeling like a veritable wonderland of toys, the aisles are long and the shelves are stack high with toys of all shapes, sizes, and prices. Though we were only looking for one specific item, we just had to have a wander around and see what other goodies were available in this Aladdin’s cave of toys.With everything from board games, bikes, wooden toys, electronic games, and more, Smyths is the sort of place kids dream of. Though they didn’t have stock of the item we were after, staff were friendly and helpful, telling us when to expect new stock and advising we “click & collect” for this popular item.”

“Preferred the old way, catalogues, pens, paper slips etc but times change and Argos moves with the changes. Not much you can't buy at Argos tbh. Staff are friendly enough.”

“Went in to get some razors for hubby they were on offer so it was worth it. Sells toiletries, hair dyes, makeup, cosmetics etc. Has a place at back of the shop where you can get beauty treatments don't think I'd feel comfortable having something done while shoppers walking past but thats just me. Store nice and clean and one of the girls was very helpful when we wanted her help”
