Asda have implemented a system where you need a receipt to leave.
The item I went in for wasn’t in stock so I didn’t have a receipt.
I expected I could just ask the member of staff in the self checkouts to let me out. He said he couldn’t and I had to walk all the way to the post office and back to leave.... read full comment

Would give more stars but recently it becomes hassle to access this McDonald's as Asda closing second entrance from main road early and you need now to walk through all Asda to get access to McDonald's via post office as they closed direct access to customers to McDonald's from main entrance. Don’t see much point in being open 24/7 if a lot of shelves are empty when you visit after 9 pm. Also toilets are dirty. Other than that, staff is nice.
