“It was an absolute pleasure to visit The Red Lion Inn in September, 2023. We were exhausted after spending the entire day at the WB Studio Tour in London, and we arrived just as the kitchen was about to close. A very kind and heartwarming lady checked us in and immediately took our food order so that we could eat before heading to our room. We ordered the Fish and Chips and the Chicken. Both dishes were quite generous (which we didn't mind at all because we were starving) and incredibly tasty. The ambiance is incredibly pleasant and relaxing, and Bella, the dog, was such a sweetheart.The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and quiet. We wished we had one more night to enjoy our stay and the room a bit better. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. It was Hobbit's day, and we got to experience it with the tiny doors that required a bit of crouching to pass through, but nothing that would deter anyone from staying there.Now, let's talk about breakfast. What an experience! We are not from the UK, so we had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious and authentic English Breakfast in a room filled with other very kind guests. It was simply brilliant. We loved every single aspect of our stay at The Red Lion Inn and can't recommend it highly enough.Once again, we would like to thank the lady that check us in. Unfortunately, we forgot your name but you were very kind to us and made the whole experience even better.”

“Great pub with a great atmosphere and good food. We stayed 2 nights and found the room very comfortable and well appointed. Garden area is deceptively large and well appointed with lovely outdoor kitchen. Wish we had more opportunity to enjoy it, but food we had in restaurant was good value- and generous portions. Everyone was really friendly with a genuine interest in delivering a good service. hope to return some timeRooms: large top floor room with comfortable bed and large bath. well appointedFood & drinks: great food and extensive wine list”

“Well it’s a beautiful place and GREAT SERVICE! Room exceptional!I stay at a lot of hotels and I was worried when I read the reviews I have to admit, BUT what a load of waffle! The hotel is EXCELLENT.We stayed for one night and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and well presented! In fact the rooms are better than a lot of rooms where I have stayed for a lot more money.Hotels smells beautiful and fires are always attended too, keeping it nice and warm.Don’t be put off by the reviews as they are honestly waffle. In fact I cannot believe people write such negative things. I am very fussy but this hotels was stunning.Well done all, great hotel and beautiful hospitality!
