“We were in town visiting the exhibition at the minster and popped in afterwards for some lunch. Everywhere around seemed busy but we managed to find a table in the pub and the food didn't take too long to arrive which was a pleasant surprise. Staff were friendly. Shame the hot drinks machine was out of order as we needed to warm up on a cold day and the doors were open on the pub so it wasn't overly warm. Food was lovely and hot anyway and reasonably priced for the area, our party enjoyed burgers, scampi and the full English.”
