“Just off the A17 about 3 miles from Newark we stumbled upon this lovely pub! We arrived about 5pm today (Sunday) and Sunday roast was finished and in fairness the pub was very quiet.
The amazing landlady ensured we didn't leave hungry and although food was finished she fixed both me and my husband a meal ! This is customer service above and beyond.......if your passing by be sure to call in

“Have stayed here frequently when visiting my parents. It's the perfect location in the centre of town. Rooms are always super clean and comfortable. Last stay was under £30 for the night. Real bargain.”
