“Grantham Travelodge great. Just as I would expect lovely, clean, spacious rooms. It was very hot and the room they gave us had a drain outside which didn't smell nice! I asked at reception if we could move and she offered me a choice of other rooms, which were still next to our son's room, no questions asked. Excellent customer service.”

“I can’t express how wonderful the staff were during my family’s stay. Reception was welcoming and helpful, but I want to give special thanks to Caroline, who went above and beyond on her night shift. Her kindness and dedication made such a difference to our visit, and I’ll be forever grateful.”

“Whilst I do recommend this hotel having stayed here a few times now. This time I did have a few problems. Parking is easy and plentiful. Check in quick. The staff are wonderful. We were particularly impressed with Jane in the restaurant serving breakfast. Her knowledge of dietary requirements was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and she provided gluten free hash browns and dairy free scrambled eggs as well as soya milk for the brews. Really impressed with her knowledge and friendliness and desire to help us out. Thankyou Gemma was also amazing in the restaurant area. Breakfast was delicious and everything was available that we needed. We were there with elderly mother and asked for. Triple room for 3 adults. Must have walk in shower not shower over bath. Also had two dogs with us. Got allocated room 1001. Can’t recommend this room!! Carpets seen better days, sloping ceiling particularly in the far corner where one of the beds was. We ended up moving the bed to ensure mum would t bang her head when getting out particularly in the dark at night. Windows were two skylights so couldn’t see the lovely view. One of those was broken so wouldn’t shut properly and was nippy outside. Beds were very uncomfortable rock hard!! And we were charged an extra £30 for the dogs. Apparently this is as they’ll have to “clean the carpets when you leave” I very much doubt that will happen!! We asked for a lamp as very dark in the far corner. This was delivered really quickly. Manager wasn’t interested in other problems in the room and told us to do a review on line!! Not the best. Room was def worst we’ve ever had and one to avoid. Hotel bar, restaurant, food and most staff (particularly Jane and Gemma) were amazing and need to receive thanks for the work they put in to make us feel so much better thanks you. We will be back just not in room 1001!!”

“It's a good located hotel, it was our second visit, first was July 2018. Rooms are very good size. The only minus this time was cleanliness, specially in the bathroom, so not sure if we stay there again. Nice breakfast.”
