“We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We phoned at short notice to get a table, not expecting to with how popular it is. They shuffled a few things round and managed to fit us in. The food is delicious, the staff are very warm and welcoming and the pub itself is very pretty. A perfect Sunday lunch experience.”
“Good sized room .large bed .mattress was just too soft for us .. but that's a personal preference. The room was very clean. bedding lovely .Nice bathroom .Good choice for us .breakfast was very good .There is plenty of choiceWalkability: Right near the city centre”
“Very helpful and professional staff, everyone was welcoming and always with a smile.I was a little bit disappointed with the size of swimming pool and gym, however once again staff were brilliant ?Rooms: Clean and up to high standardsSafety: Felt ? safeFood & drinks: Very tasty food and once again up to standard, everything was fresh”
“Mixed review on this one. We attended an event at the motorpoint arena, its perfect for that as it was only a short walk away. The car park is on Your Parking Space. Don't panic if you look on the app and it shows as sold out, there appears to be only a small number of advance booking spaces available. We thought the car park was full, but got there to find plenty of spaces and a machine on the wall to pay when you leave.
We checked in at 4.30pm, end of June in a heatwave. We had a family room on the 5th floor, and found we were overlooking the venue across the water which was in full rave mode with unidentifiable music playing, as you could only hear (or rather, feel) the bass that made the walls shake. There was no aircon, the room thermostat showed 28 degrees. Thankfully a fan had been put in our room, but I had to take it apart and clean the large build up of dust off of it first.
The beds were made up with thick duvets (10 tog I think), so we took them out and slept under the empty covers.
Then we had to close the windows to reduce the noise so the kids could go to sleep. The room got a bit hotter, but thankfully they nodded off then we opened them again. Then at 10pm, the shaking stopped, and all was peaceful the rest of the night.
The staff were lovely, happily filling up water bottles of iced water throughout our stay.”
“Rooms are as you would expect from a refurbished hotel, spacious with everything you'd need for an overnight stay. The space by the bed is compromised a little bit the provision of a chair for the desk, which reduces the 'clear' walking space. Perhaps a smaller chair or adjusting the furniture size would help. A minor issue, but an issue for me ?”
“Great quality room overall and great service from staff. Only issue was it was a little hot in the room as there is no way of making it cooler through the temperature unit. They do make this clear and that fans are available so maybe we should have done this.”
“Great stays and rooms where really big. Ruby was really helpful we asked where would be good to eat and got lots of amazing places and she even wrote out a list for us. Honestly incredible.
The bathroom fan in my room was a little loud as it seemed to set to full but nothing i couldn't sleep through.”
“A very nice friendly hotel. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast was good too. All the staff were very welcoming- thanks to Tracey for looking after us at breakfast”
“Overall ok, but second time I have stayed and again room cold Water flow in room was a dribble. Stayed 3 nights and mentioned this on day one. Nothing could be done about the water but was offered a heater in room however had to ask for this again in the evening. A colleague had same problem with the cold.”
“Well, I've stayed in many Premier Inns across the country, and there's not a great deal of difference between each one, it is exactly what it says on the tin. The location for this one was superb, ideally located. The restaurant was very nice and more upmarket than what you get as standard. The check-in was very fast and straightforward. The first tripping point was heading to my room, the door card wouldn't work, so annoyingly, I had to return to the desk. This issue became a constant blight on a daily basis, along with a few others too! Waking up on my last morning, the key card failed in all aspects! No lights, no power shower. On a plus, the room was warm and comfortable. However, I didn't get a good nights sleep when every hour the city clock chimes like Big Ben, but I know that can't be helped...same goes for the persistent "headboard" banging from another room. All in all, I left feeling exhausted and in need of a good nights sleep...in my own bed. Personally, in my estimation, this is a typical city centre hotel. It is what it is...except for the dodgy key cards.”
“Absolutely could not recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and everything you need for a relaxed stay away.Staff are friendly and can't do enough for you.Enjoyed a lovely hot buffet breakfast,Great selection for all.”

“Came yesterday for my sons graduation, something I was really looking forward too. Hadn't been in my room long when I smashed my foot on a leg of the bed which are a hazard as they stick out ! I learned from a staff member there has been several complaints. First aid was called who came with a very basic First aid kit. I told her I heard a crack and that 2 of my toes were at an angle. She asked me to move my toes which I couldn't do. She said she saw them move so they wasn't broken. She tried to bandage my toes but she didn't seem to know how to do it and it kept falling off. She had no Scissors so I had to rip the bandage with my teeth ! I was in pain all night and missed most of my sons graduation ! Struggling to walk in the morning I was given an ice pack and an incident form filled in, something which should have happened straight away ! I couldn't get home as I'm not local and had my young daughter with me who after having had cancer suffers with ptsd. She said I was fine and my toe wasn't broken...actually I have 2 broken toes both with clean brakes ! I had been left to walk the long corridors nearly in tears ! Graduation ruined, our stay ruined and my daughter couldn't go in the pool like she was really looking forward to. Staff need proper first aid training, bandage application is pretty basic stuff but she couldn't do it so gave me a huge plastic blue plaster ! Let's see if someone from management actually calls me like I was told when I left the hotel. Your more than welcome to see xrays of my badly broken toes and my black foot”
“We were met by Prem and Florin who gave excellent customer service on arrival. The room was standard and the lift was quick. Prem and Florin, who greeted us, prepared and served us our cheese toasties. Despite being very busy they remained very calm. Great location for the tram, we will stay there again.”
“Good hotel, friendly staff, plenty of parking and has a beef eater on site for food. The rooms were nice enough however be aware the hotel layout can catch you out, there are 2 main sets of stairs to get to different rooms. The first set covers say rooms 200-239 and the second set covers 240-270 and there is also a separate building for higher numbers rooms. It caught me out at first but once you understand it it's easy enough.”

“Stayed at Premier inn next door so had breakfast here. Michelle greeted us and explained the system. Self service eat all you want. Worked well for us. The food was really nice. There was a good selection for a fried breakfast. I'd go again .
Parking: It was a busy night but there were spaces available. It is a big carpark.”
“It was a comfortable stay. We visited restaurants and shops. The hotel took loads of precautions due to covid. Lovely breakfast with a pleasant chef. This hotel is situated in Nottingham town centre, so lots to see and do. Loads of nightclubs.”
“Broke down in my car and spent much of the evening here. Unto this day have management and security helped me source recovery for my broken car. Top notch for housing the refugees also. God blessed hotel perfect for motorway rest plus cans of pop. Breakfast also - I wouldn't say no.”
“We had a suite for our anniversary and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The only slight issue was the lift being out of service and the room on the 5th floor but we were offered help with our bags and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The suite was beautiful and amenities were 5 ”

“Loved my stay here, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy. For the price we paid, it was perfect, bonus points for a Costa across the way. Would definitely book to stay here again.”
“A very pleasant stay. A little noisy with doors slamming during the night and lots of sirens but we knew this was a possibility so not the hotels fault. The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful.Rooms: We were top floor (9th floor) but the room was pleasantly big and well equipped.Food & drinks: Lovely breakfast in the morning. We didn't book when booking the room but was still able to pay the next morning.”
“Really enjoyed my stay here! Plenty of parking and near the ammenities you need. Good service, a clean and quiet room.If I'm being very picky, it was slightly too warm. I'll definitely stay again ”
“Absolutely ideal place to stay, rooms were decent and dog friendly, stayed 2 nights and had the breakfast which was decent enough. The little pub attached is really quite charming with good set of beers on tap. Bed were comfy and staff really welcoming. would stay ”
