“Easy to find from Train station it’s around corner on main road. Booking in was easy and ladies in reception were very friendly and efficient. Room was normal clean premier inn rooms only thing was a smoke smell so we opened windows and went out into town. Didn’t have breakfast but we did have a pint ? night before. Definitely will stay againNearby activities: Ideal for Nottingham Forest and Notts county or any city centre visit”

“This was our first visit to The Durham Ox, but it certainly won't be our last. We had an excellent Sunday lunch, where everything was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were just perfect. The beer was kept well and the wine was really good. All in all, a most enjoyable Sunday lunch.”

“Booked in there with my family for a tournament over 3 nights. We stayed there with other parents & children in our group for the same tournament. Was welcome by the staff, they explained what was available to hotel, what time was breakfast. We used the pool, steam room, hot tub and gym from 6:30am during our stay. There were lots of different ways to start the day. Which was followed by having varied choice of food and drinks for breakfast. Family rooms bed were huge, pull out bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly, very helpful, great service provided. Knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Gave us useful travel information about public transport during Gay Pride March. Thanks for the heads up.”

“I stayed for 2 nights whilst taking part in the Outlaw triathlon which was hosted nearby. The hotel is modern, clean with friendly and most helpful staff. I opted for a superior room on the 11th floor which was spacious, well equipped and had a lovely view. The bed was most comfy, on par with top luxury hotels which surprised me! The bar food was average and drinks expensive, however, breakfast was excellent. I will definitely stay again when next in town.”

“the only issue i had was parking ....be warned ..if you dont book a parking slot at the premier inn you will be charged the full parking price at the q park nearby ...ie it cost us £40 from fri 10 pm till sun 11.30 am ....!!...the q park is a 10 min walk to premier inn on goldsmith ”

“We love coming to miller's barn the staff are always pleasant and happy to help my kids if they need it. Only down side is where the hot food is currently located as it is quite a tight space and when busy it gets very crowded there which is also closed to the steps. We have been previously when the hot food was on the side next to the kitchen on the hot plates which was a much smoother process. Overall though it is good food.”

“Travelodge are the same format wherever you go. It's the location which makes the visit. The Travelodge at Trowell is there in conjunction with the MOTORWAY Services for travellers who require comfort stops, food drink etc.”

“Beautiful room and lovely hot ? shower (space for two ??)..Friendly staff and handy bar & restaurant connected to the hotel (kept us out of the British rain soaked September evening journey for our drink & food). Overall I would revisit this hotel again because of the great transport links to the City ???? Party time is a must plus parking is great here too...”

“Return visit to this centrally located hotel. Quite stay, this being mid-week. Comfortable bed, clean room and friendly staff. Very helpful reception, particularly with my internet setup. Would recommend this to anyone seeking a city centre break.”

“It was a comfortable stay. We visited restaurants and shops. The hotel took loads of precautions due to covid. Lovely breakfast with a pleasant chef. This hotel is situated in Nottingham town centre, so lots to see and do. Loads of nightclubs.”

“Broke down in my car and spent much of the evening here. Unto this day have management and security helped me source recovery for my broken car. Top notch for housing the refugees also. God blessed hotel perfect for motorway rest plus cans of pop. Breakfast also - I wouldn't say no.”

“The hotel is ideally situated and you can easily drive / get uber into town. There is also the Riverside pub next door . Staff are extremely helpful especially the manager - Alex . Early check ins can be booked and are worthwhile.”

“The hotel on first thoughts doesn’t look amazing. The lift stank of cigarettes and the carpet looks a bit worse for wear. Check in was effortless and the room was spotless, possibly one of the cleanest travelodge rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The food was disgusting. The portion sizes were dismal and the food was 100% microwaved there are plenty of other restaurants nearby such as maccies, kfc & nandos.Overall, I would recommend and would stay here again.”
