However, the constant background music on top of other customers talking make any advice hard to hear for people who are deaf like myself, especially if they are elderly. “Absolutely amazing shop, Always has the stock I need the staff are fantastic. Everyone is so friendly, easy to talk to and not only helpful to me but I've witnessed them countless times be courteous and kind to others and also be super helpful too.

I really feel like I need to explain how excellent the service the staff provide is. Everything I ask for, and I ask for a lot, is dealt with a fantastic attitude. The atmopshere is easy, the staff are welcoming and I have absolutely no complaints.

It went from a shop that I accidentally went to one day and asked a quick question about an item to feeling like a place I could go to time and time again.

“Trying to find wall paper. Found out that BandQ, Homebase and Wicks stopped having them in store recently. Googled and realised Brewers might have some. Not my first thought as I normally come here for specialist paint. When we got there we found a corner with the old style wallpaper books. A digital screen where you can check prices or search their full stock. Waiting on my samples to be posted!The staff were super helpful in helping me find what I want.”

I located a couple of specialist tools for a particular job, reasonably priced and will definitely be back based on what I've seen today. “I went to Wicks for DIY painting stuff before Christmas & left before 2 hours but I got parking ticket £100 for over staying. I spent over £500 for buying stuffs. But it was cancelled after I spoke with store manager. So be aware guys, parking is only 90 minutes free.”

“Located along the high street and can be seen from a distance away front the shop. Also not to be confused with the clothes shop that’s also near by. They have a good level of items in store for people to choose what they really like and even though it is second products they are still of high quality. They give you option to maybe not spending the going rate but still experiencing luxury to some extent. They have volunteers in store, also playing there part to raise funds for the British heart foundation charity.”

The staff are helpful. The shop is easy to navigate. Then, when you need a rest, you can drop into a cafe on the premises.”

I visited Currys Maidstone yesterday to buy an Xbox for my son and was assisted by Oscar in the gaming section. Even though we arrived right at the last minute, he was full of energy, very supportive, and went out of his way to help us. His positive attitude and excellent service made the whole experience so much easier. Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I really wanted to this time because of the 5-star service Oscar provided.
