“I had an evening meal which was very nice with the starter & dessert, however the steak I ordered for the main which was meant to be rare was certainly beyond well done. This therefore put a damper on my evening.

Food and drinks: Restaurant”

“The only negative things were both the bed and the bath were way too high!!. I am under 5ft, or only 148cm and it shouldn't be difficult in a hotel room to get into bed or in the bath for a shower!!”

“It is a beautiful period hotel, wonkey floors and all! Wonderful. Had an issue with a non flushing toilet dealt with fantastically by a wonderful lady. Please enjoy the experience we did.”

“The apartment was large and decent for the family of adults. It was a cosy apartment and the most important thing to us, was that it was peaceful and quiet. Excellent hosts, who are Italians. Breakfast was as expected, although a couple in their selfish nature took all the croisants and left the rest of the guests with none. Guess what, these two couples in their 30s did not even eat them. How bloody selfish. I hope they rot in hell; the two of them.”

“Very nice hotel which opened in 2021 in the heart of the city. Even has aircon and triple glazing which Travelodge don't normally. I've been using it ever since it opened except when they went mad with prices for a while, so always check the competition. I have even tried the plus rooms occasionally but they are not normally worth the extra, the rooms aren't bigger, just a few niceties included, the main one being the coffee machine. One year after opening the hotel is beginning to suffer, shower valves are damaged and air conditioner filters blocked. They also seem to have fitted flow restrictors to the showers so they are now not as good as they were.A recent change here is the reduced staffing, so you have to use a new app to check-in and then can either use your phone as a room key or get a real one from a machine in the lobby.”

“Well located for town, rooms were comfortable and clean, one of the rooms, however, had a bit of a musty smell, (1st floor 127). Such friendly staff in the restaurant and at check in. Kids loved the breakfast ?”
