“A store that really went above and beyond in my opinion. As a family we have been a customer at vision express for many years and always admire the care and support we recieve.On this occasion I would to personally mention and thank Michael the branch manager. I had a recent cataract surgery in 1 eye, unfortunately I responded to the medication and my eye pressures spiked giving me blurred vision, and headaches, tenderness around the eye(thought I mention in case someone experiences the same symptoms).I called moorfields eye hospital and they advised my if I could locally get my eye pressures checked. After calling another locally vision express branch along with another opticians both said I needed a appointment. My last call was to vision express roneo, spoke to Michael and I explained my concerns, he told me so come in and he'd gladly check my eye pressures. On arrival I waited no more than 5 minutes, he personally took a reading and gave me a printout and as expected my pressures had spiked to 35 on 4 attempts (pressures should be around 10-21) By the time I got to Moorfields eye hospital they has risen to 55. Instantly I was given IV antibiotics to avoid nerve damage.I apologise for this long winded review but I thought I'd share my personal experience and if it wasn't for Micheal checking my eye pressures on that day both myself and Moorfields doctor I saw agree things may have been different in terms of treatment needed.This kind of customer service should be definitely recognised and praised in my opinionThank you again Michael”
