“Visited for my Husband's 30th Birthday celebrations. A table of 12 with 2 kids, everything was ready for us when we arrived, even a highchair in place, with two ice buckets of prosecco as requested and a tray of glasses ready to pour. Service was swift and attentive, ensuring drinks were topped up, yet not overbearing. A concise list of options was given to our gluten free guest, although we were told in advance she could have most things including fries, and on the day they said that they couldn't do this due to the fryer. But ample other options. The food was delicious and huge portions! Good quality food and meats, cooked to perfection - big smiles all round! One thing to note, and nothing that the staff can help so not a complaint, more some advice - is whilst the restaurant is separate to the bar, and we had dressed up to celebrate as others had, you have to walk through the main pub and people are in scruffs jeering and swearing, which does ruin the mood slightly! But on the whole, an absolutely lovely evening.”
