“Clean rooms and nice shower, no gap in the bed as a lot of places are so I would go again. However £15 for shuffleboard and £25 for darts feels like a rip off, driving range isn't included still have to pay for the balls.”

“Booked a Premier Plus room, just a few quid more than a standard room, well worth the extra pennies. Rainfall shower, fancy coffee machine, free wi-fi. 2 little chocolate bars. At the moment (July 2025) there's some building work going on, so parking is a tiny bit compromised. The lady who was on reception in the evening when we checked in was just delightful and absolutely charming”

“Really good hotel at a great price. Ample breakfast and secure parking. This hotel is ideal for visiting the area or as a stopover for Luton Airport. Friendly staff and clean rooms, little bit small bathroom though.Rooms: The bathroom is designed for one person at a time.”

“Rooms are decent for price. Staff member was very friendly and helpful. Location is great overlooking the river. Only downside there is a lot of homeless people outside hotel asking for money”

“Staff were nice and made sure you had a good experience, had a hiccup with something but they fixed it right away.Lovely room and bathroom. Liked how the shower worked as could control water pressure and temperature with 2 separate dials so you could keep the temperature even while shower was offFood was nice and in a varietyOnly problem I had was with signal not sure if that's because of what provider I'm with but helped that there's wifi that I can connect to.”

“Ground floor room, which is suitable for people in a wheelchair or disability as both the room and bathroom where quite large. There was a sliding door to access the bathroom, a low level bath and bed and grab rails down the whole length of the bath with a shower above and shower curtain. On the whole, we were happy with our room, even though it felt a bit dated. The room did have a strong musty smell but as the weather was warm on the weekend we stayed we were able to keep our window open which did eliminate this but once you closed it the smell did come back and you could smell it outside our room when we were walking up to it in the corridor. The hotel is right by the marina which is lovely to walk around very peaceful, also quite countryfied as well as very early in the morning there where rabbits outside our window running around the car park. Not far from the town of Bedford, which has a lot of shops and restaurants. There is a Beefeater restaurant attached to the hotel, you can have a full, all you can eat breakfast. You have to let your waitress know which items you want. Choice of bacon, eggs, sausage, tomato, beans, mushrooms, hash browns, you choose how much or little you want. You help yourself to tea & coffee, toast, croissants, cereal, fruit, cake. Also had our evening meal there as well, we half roast chicken and my partner had fish & chips. Both meals were a decent size cooked fresh and nice and hot. Waitresses were all friendly and made us feel at home. Would definitely stay here again but perhaps in a different room.”
