“Enjoyable evening with friends. Fiona had a surprise birthday cake ahead of her birthday the following week. Starters we fine but a little disappointed with the mains. Fiona's fish was fine but my bbq chicken lacked bbq sauce!! Will probably return for another try. It was busy.”

“Only had Sunday lunch here from the carvery which was very good and hot which makes a change from others I've had. Service was very good and friendly staff. After a year the place is still just the same warm local hotel.”

“We went on a recommendation it didn't disappoint. On walking in, it was like they recognised us by name which was very impressive. We had booked and again it was a real pleasure asthey asked if anyone had any allergies or dietary requirements. We were quickly seated and the attention to detail was again very impressive. We think we spoke to the owners who had a fantastic sense of humour and put us all at ease. 4 of us for starters, mains and dessert and no exaggerating, we had the best steaks ever. The desserts were home made andnot some overpriced cake from Costco either. The decor is simply fantastic. Afterwards we had a guided tour and it was impressive! Overall, 10 out of 10 for service, food and drink quality and simply a fantastic experience with excellent value for money. We couldn't fault it.”
