“I have a fairly good overview of the services this post office provides, and I am a frequent customer. I post items, return Amazon goods, collect parcels from there, and also top up my electricity. The service is run by a lovely owner who works really hard and literally never stops. It's such a friendly team; the service has greatly improved and expanded since the new owner took over the business. It's a really busy service, but they work as fast as they can and are always polite and friendly. The current 3-star ranking does not reflect the standard of service they provide”

“The most wonderful, kind, friendly and just brilliant service from Manjit today. I took a large letter in and because of its size it was going to need to go as a small parcel. Manjit kindly asked if it was foldable at the ends so that I would be able to send it as a large letter rather than a small parcel- costing half the price to send. She even sellotape it for me, whilst wearing her lovely smile throughout :) Brilliant service, she turned my whole week around. Thankyou Manjit!!”

“I visited today to collect a parcel and was so relieved. I usually hate going to this post office as the staff there have zero customer service. They are usually on their mobile phones while serving customers and shouting across the shop to one another having their own conversation irrelevant to the job they are doing. The queue is long and the service extremely slow.When I arrived today there were 2 unfamiliar ladies at the desk. Smiles and friendly conversation greeted each customer they served. The gentleman in front of me asked about his bank card and relayed a recent problem he had with it. The lady serving him listened attentively and responded to his agitation in a supportive manor and even tried to assist him with his problem. I heard her say how they were kitting out with new stock etc and something about new management.When the lady next to her served me I asked about this, to be told “Yes it was now under new owners”.This is the best news for this post office. I’ve dreaded going there for so long and the shop never has anything on the selves. Now it might ACTUALLY run like a post office and customers will hopefully get a good service.Thank you for a positive experience here for the first time in years.?If you previously felt like me, change is here. “Wonderfully local shop and landmark, has all you could possibly need (sandwiches, milk, bread, tinned food, fizzy pop, ice cream/cheesecake and sweets) Definitely a must-visit considering its compact shop size.”

“I visit here regularly for a bacon sarnie and a cuppa on my walks with a friend. The staff are always very friendly, the bacon is cooked to perfection (we ask for it crispy), and there is never any push to move you on so we are able to sit a while and chat over our drinks. It’s a popular place amongst dog-walkers, walkers and people who just come for the food. Have eaten here at lunchtime as well - equally as good.
