“This post office is by far the best in Wakefield. I live between this one and another but would always choose Sandal. The husband and wife team are just lovely and always helpful, and very friendly. “I post my business parcels here 6 days a week and find the service outstanding. The business owners are very friendly and greet most people by name and everyone seems to know their names too ? They are always good with advice if it is needed and never seem stressed if it is very busy. The reason why I go to this Post Office rather than another that is slightly nearer is that it is always easy to park and although it is quite a small shop, they sell anything you can think of from the Supermarket, including all the well known brands so I can pick up bits that I need rather than going to the Supermarket. Busy little shop and I can see why ?”
“I'm confused. It is one or five stars, that makes no sense. I work there. We try our hardest to please all customers in the shop or the Post Office. If there is a queue, I'm sorry but queues. I don't know anyone that works there currently that is not the nicest person. Happy New Year! X”

“This Post office shop is like one of those you see in a country village when you are on holiday in the dales and is so close to Wakefield and Barnsley if you fancy something different here is the place to come.I love coming here from Horbury although we do lots of gardens in the surrounding area so we can call in.There's a great selection of sandwiches and drinks.I come for the odd treat or 2 or more.Such a wide variety of products I have to control myself ?The shop is very well stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful.Has a coffee machineSo it's nice just to sit outside and have a break looking out onto the green.5 stars from me”
“I can not thank the lady who runs this post office enough, she has been the only person my nan has seen all month, and has gone out of her way to remain open for the local elderly people,shes the only face my nan sees and will be the only person she speaks to face to face.I find it so lovely that shes putting the elderly before her own family. I cant thank her enough.When I called my nan this morning,the only thing she could talk about was the post office and the lady that "looks after her"Its the little things in life,I hope you get to read this.Thank you so much for be the closest thing to family for my nan.”

“just got back from Flanshaw what a waste of a journey still no large packs of mushrooms after four weeks still no bags for the flowers that I get for my wifes grave after three weeks, before that it was hit and miss, I have had to call at Aldi in Alverthorpe I have shopped at Morrisons since the 1970s when the first store opened at Bolton woods Bradford the car park was on the roof, I am now undecided where to shop probably give them one more chance next week then that will be it unless they have woken up and improved on Wednesday 22nd August visit found everything back on the shelves just one item that I wanted still missing”

“I bought 10 one for all vouchers for birthdsys and xmas. Some receipts said £0.00 loaded. The young lady in the Bureau de Change had endless patience sorting them individually to check which ones did not have money on, on a very busy day. All done with smiles. Cannot praise her enough.”
