“Debra the owner booked by Comedy Hypnosis Show. On arriving one of the lady bar staff showed me where to set up. She even brought me 5 chairs and cleared an area for me to perform. The Guests were amazingly friendly as was Debra. I had an amazing show and thank you to all the staff and guests for making me feel welcome”

“Called In to the red lion this evening to find a great atmosphere with a very knowledgeable bartender. Opted on the framers blond wow crystals clear pint. This pub knows what there about. Not far off from Holmfirth worth a visit.”

“Just had a lovely stay here at the Holmfirth Vineyard. The wine tour was very informative albeit in the middle of a storm lol! Nigel was great and we enjoyed learning about the wine produced here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good and the accommodation was very nice. Quirky in fact !!”

“I needed a place that would provide a good post concert nights sleep, with a decent breakfast in the morning.

The Old Bridge Inn provided exactly that.

My room was VERY small, just enough room to walk around the bed. But the bed/linens/pillows were of a good quality.

The hospitality & service was VERY GOOD. Seemed to genuinely want to try and ensure everyone had an enjoyable time.

I do think they should extend bar hours (just an hour) for residents, especially Fri or Sat, when there is a concert at the adjacent picturedome. Closing at 11, was a little disappointing.”
