Called In to the red lion this evening to find a great atmosphere with a very knowledgeable bartender. Opted on the framers blond wow crystals clear pint. This pub knows what there about. Not far off from Holmfirth worth a visit.

Nice atmosphere but no longer serves food so disappointing
Red Lion is a friendly village Real Ale pub. Locals and visitors enjoy the fun & relaxed ambiance with the pub's cask marque accredited Real Ale, a great selection on Draught & spirits as well as yummy home cooked food from our pub kitchen, the Lions Den, it's an easy fit. Thursday Night by Candlelight & Sunday Sessions showcase our very talented pool of local musicians. With lovely outdoor spaces from our blooming beer garden to one side, the sheltered "Lodge" on the other & the street side seating allows us the whole days sunshine. The Lions Den kitchen's popular and ever changing small plates menu & grill is definitely worth a try as well as our Sunday Dinners. In the charming & picturesque Holme Valley we're just a lovely pub to visit.
