“We visited the Castleford J32 outlet, one week to the schools going back (wanting to leave it to the last minute to prevent new school shoes being outgrown). Lots of other families seemed to share the same thoughts, and the shop was super busy!However, it was really well organised! There was a marquee outside the front door with two foot-measuring people, as well as two others inside for the pre-booked measuring. A manager with a walkie talkie stood at a small desk in the children's area (with helium balloons tied to it to make it easy to find wherever you happened to be in the shop). There were plenty of staff who had clear roles in the controlled-chaos: measuring/fitting and dashing into the back to find alternate sizes for you.Admittedly, this close to the new academic year, there wasn't quite as much choice available in every size; though we found some new school shoes and PE trainers, got them fitted/checked, and paid for in roughly half an hour.I was impressed by the way the staff were working together as a team and focusing on the back to school last-minute rush.”
