“My latest visit has seen rooms renovated! They're nice albeit very tight. It seems the rooms have been made smaller in the renovation, but they're nice and refreshing. Reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly as always. Good job to the management!Previous reviews, below:Typical British hotel. Old, worn, dark passages, small rooms and British TV which seems stuck in the 80's. I've seen the same repeat shows over the last 15 years. Even the new shows are old style 80's quiz shows and variety specials. Nothing fresh in any way. I didn't eat in the hotel but a colleague told me his meal w mediocre at best and room service was dismal. Not even close to other crowne plaza hotels around the world in any respect. UK hotels are lightyears behind so many 3 world countries in terms of quality and service. DisappointingAnother stay and all of the above is still true. The wifi is so bad it's almost like not having any. Had breakfast this trip which was OK. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive actually. Reception staff were very helpful.Once again I am here for a visit (company choice not mine). The housekeeping staff are super rude and don't even make way to pass on the hallway.”
“Great town centre location near 3 min walk to Crawley town centre. Close to many restaurants, Indian, Thai, KFC, Peri Peri etc. Free parking next door (enter your reg at reception) ten min drive to Gatwick Airport.
Ten minute walk to train (Crawley) station - which we used to get to Brighton (40m) on train.
I have to say every member of staff I encountered were so professional and went out of their way to assist myself. From revalidating my key card, to the kitchen lady telling me more mushrooms and bacon were coming.
Asking reception for a hairdryer and additional toiletries nothing was any trouble for this team.
If any organisation wants to see how to provide first class customer service then stay here. It’s a budget hotel but with 5 star service, well done Travelodge Crawley.”
“We've stayed at the Premier Inn Gatwick East a few times and always pleased. The Indian food at the Parsons Pig restaurant is superb and reason enough for staying at the Premier ”

“This quaint hotel has all the expected perks and the friendliest staff who go out of their way to meet all of your requests. They have a great hot breakfast too. I will definitely stay here again if I need to overnight before a flight out of Gatwick Airport. It is about 10 minutes away from the airport.”

“Great staff - both at Reception and in the bar/restaurant. Large hotel, in good order, clean and comfortable. Only 15 mins to the airport via taxi - at a fixed rate and with a very reliable company. Have used this hotel before and will use it again”
