“I regularly stay here for work and it's always a pleasure. The team go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious.

The touch I appreciated today was the lovely lady on the front desk taking note of how cold I get (I'd asked for extra blankets) and suggesting to add to my preferences for winter to put me in a warmer room if possible. I didn't even know that was possible but it's such a lovely touch!

Rooms: Always clean with toiletries provided, tea and coffee facilities and lovely spacious bathrooms.

Safety: I've never had a worry about saftey as a woman staying on my own!

Food and drinks: Breakfast is exceptional, handpicked hotels really do this well and it's the one thing I always rave about yo family and friends. It's a true highlight of my stay, especially being gluten free. I'm completely catered for and never have to worry.

Dinner is divine too, the gluten free sticky toffee has my heart!”

“Arrived at the hotel and kindly ask if I can get a room near the reception as I am pregnant it will be easy for me to access the reception if needed. But unfortunately they weren’t able to help me instead they gave me the last end room. also there’s a banging noise on the other room that made me wake up in the middle of my sleep.”

“Great atmosphere. Charlie was fun and vibrant, which rubbed off on this team, great to see. Wine was cold and crisp, food was to die for!! Deffo recommend the food, Ramona is amazing.Pub is clean and safe - will be back. X”

“Stayed here last night as have family member in the area 24 hr reception which was good as I travelled 6 hours from the North happy with the the room was a twin room but only me staying staff were friendly and welcoming (waine) actually had a decent night sleep there is free parking when in reception put reg in on the computer very happy lots of parking space Toby carvery is next door”
