“I stopped here while walking the south downs way. It was about 3/4 mile from the main trail. They were extremely friendly and had everything I needed, including food for lunch and dinner, as well as sunblock. I also got tips from the people who worked there about the walk ahead. I would recommend it as a stopping point for anyone who needs a quick resupply of food and basic supplies while walking. The village itself was also very charming.”
