“I was a bit sad today. I have Dementia and I really work hard to keep my brain functioning. But last week, I picked up a bunch of bannanas, and they had a tape around them, but I weighed them and stuck a label on and scanned them. Had a rescan, and of course, there was already a barcode already to scan. Move toward today, and I noticed that they had some smaller white onions as the big ones are too big for one meal i took the bag of small onions and place them in the trolley so when my husband joined me I could ask if we should have the smaller ones and then we could scan them. I forgot to ask him and so I had another rescan because of my rescan last week. So it was fine, and they got added on after the rescan. I am still want to carry on doing my own scanning because it keeps my brain functioning. So yes, I was sad and felt awful.”

“Outstanding customer service with great help from Branch Manager Chris Rose and colleague John. I was stranded at Tesco Express on A283 at Storrington with a burst tyre and no phone. Chris went to a great deal of trouble arranging for a mobile tyre replacement operative to visit the garage. Although this took over 3 hours, I was sustained with coffee and a chair in the shade. All the staff I met were helpful, polite and courteous. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Worthy of a Tesco Award for outstanding customer service. I will make a point of re-visiting this garage when I am next in Storrington.Chris Basley.”
