“We held our first works party here last night in the Great Chamber. It was outstanding in every way. This is a beautiful hotel, the guests were all delighted with their rooms and loved the historic building. The food was outstanding, a much higher quality than I was expecting. The staff went the extra mile, clearly they recruit very high calibre people when many other hotels are visibly struggling to provide a good service. We all loved it, good old fashioned service always with a smile, thank you, we will be back!”

“Food, Guinness, and staff were absolutely stunning! I didn't catch the barmans name, but he was a gem, really friendly and so kind. In an unfamiliar town away for work, I find a warm reception so essential and that's 100% what I got here ? thanks to the team, and even the punters, for making me feel welcome away from home. It would even be worth making the five hour trip to come back ✌?”

“I’ve stayed a couple of times, Staff always pleasant and friendly , some of the rooms are very good. Some are a bit worn but still very nice. Pool area is great not a massive pool , get busy sometimes, good amenities, good food breakfast can be sometimes very busy but all in all it’s a great place to stay”

“For what it's worth this Travelodge is fantastic. The room was clean, warm, comfortable, and the staff were very, very friendly, helpful, and generous. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again on my next visit. There's no hot breakfast, but there are many great places nearby, very close to walk. They do however offer a "continental breakfast box" for just over £5 which contains cereal and milk, oat flapjack, apple juice, and a pain au chocolat. I liked it and it suited me! Can also be taken on the go.”

“Great hotel room was lovely and clean abit of noise from other guests but nothing major staff were great and always there to help when needed we was checked in by Marcus and becky who was great and funny arguing over name mentions on trip advisor so they 100% both deserve the mentions ?”
