“Well spaced out stick, which makes it easier when you are disabled (I use a power chair) staff helpful, store clean, easily accessible as doors always open and wide enough to get in easily.Some nice clothes, good range of sizes, for all ages.Shoes and bags at back.”

“My daughter found a few pieces in here, it was surprisingly busy with a wait on the changing rooms. You do need to try items on, as they sizing varies even in store with a size 8 being too big and a size 10 being too small, the various style fits of jeans makes it hard to get it right without trying on a dozen!”

“Very nice environment. Good fresh selection of cakes and toasted sandwiches and other food options. Drinks decent. Ok so you do pay a little more, but it was a quiet and pleasant cafe. Been a few times and always good. Small pizza Focaccia bread salami and mozzarella toasted sandwich. Tea Coffee. Just under £20.”

“One of the longer established charity shops in Sutton Coldfield, this Oxfam has stood on the corner of Holland Street and Birmingham Road for around about twelve years. The interior layout is often moved around which stops the shop from ever becoming too tired. When it first started this was a great place to pick up rare vinyl at a decent price, nowadays it stocks very few records and less CDs than it used to, but it has yet to go the way of stocking hundreds of damp-damaged Ray Conniff LPs so there's an element of quality over quantity at work. There is always a very good and broad selection of books in this particular Oxfam, always reasonably priced and more than always in good condition. In recent times, the shop has moved more and more into the area of selling its own ethical products (a woman in there the other day was asking if they still had any toilet cleaner in stock), which is undoubtedly great for some but to a nifty thrifter in search of valuable cast-offs, it appeals very little. With the charity shop sector growing to the point of saturation, perhaps it's a necessary evil to keep these very useful shops going.”
