One of the main reasons I frequent this store is the great value they offer on bulk purchases, particularly water. I appreciate that they've recently started stocking alkaline water, which has been a fantastic addition to their already impressive selection.”

“I regularly use this store not only for the everyday essentials eg bread milk sugar and always check the specials and deals that are on offer and usually always a bargain for me to utilise I also use Basins Tile Cross Road as my place to use the post office buy gas electric and mobile phone top ups the staff are always very helpful and friendly making a visit to this store enjoyable and not a chore”

“Pretty good home bargains, decent size, well stocked. It was very busy at 6pm but they had all the tills open which makes a refreshing change for home bargains, so the queues were minimal. Based on how busy it was on a weekday at 6pm I imagine it might be a nightmare on a weekend.”

“A big store, but not as good a selection of items as in other stores from the same brand. Still fairly useful though, and some good finds at good prices. Like most of the other stores, you can find some unusual and interesting food items here.”

Phoned the store the day after (middle of a busy Saturday morning) and a member of staff -sadly didnt get his name- spent a good few minutes trying to find it for us. “Aldi is Aldi you know what you’re getting at a competitive price, customer service always seems to be ok ? Unfortunately ? Avoid this store Friday lunchtimes as the parking is impossible due to the mosque over the road using it as there car park, why Aldi have not addressed this problem ? But wouldn’t like to have that conversation this day and age ?”

“very nice grocery store, right on high street in kings heath. great variety in frozen foods, pizzas and ice creams as well as other treats and desserts. love to shopping over there for my weekly list or something or unplanned cooking!”

“Staff really friendly, helpful and polite will happy go check out the back for something if not on shopfloor. Checks can some times need extra staff as most of the time there is only 1 person on check out and can get very busy but otherwise great place to shop”

“Love it. One of the best additions to one stop shopping. Some great bargains with really good shelf life. Aisles are very narrow and store is a bit cramped but people are courteous enough and find a way to make it work. Great place to grab a surprise discount or bargain on some of your favourite brands.”

“1 of the smaller home bargains I've visited. No car parking space makes things a little awkward for shopping if like usual you come out with more than you went in for.
The store was clean and tidy when I visited on a Saturday afternoon. The shelves were fairly full for the time of day.
Only the lack of car parking let's this store down.”

“I do my usual weekly shop in Aldi. I always find it frustrating as often there is a product I like and buy regularly but then it isn't stocked for months on end and sometimes never again.”

“Relatively large supermarket. Big car park. A large variety of alternate brands. Reasonable priced goods. Nice atmosphere. Small selection of produce. Fresh baked cooked available. Recommended? Definitely!”

“I've been shopping here weekly for a few years now and overall it's a good shopping experience. First the positives, there's a large carpark, including disabled and parent bays near to the entrance, and undercover parking. There's a Timpson's in the carpark, a pure gym and Argos inside. The staff are all friendly, polite and helpful. The store has a good range of products from well known brands as well as own brand products. Negatives? There's an escalator from the carpark entrance to the store which breaks down frequently. Trolley's aren't always collected and returned to store, so expect to go hunting for one. Occasionally appears understaffed, so expect long delays at the self checkouts (there aren't many belted tills left having been removed to install more self checkouts).”

“Popular grocery shop with the local community. Friendly and engaging customer service. I always make a point of visiting, usually on my way to Soho road as I would most likely find what you searching for without hassle.”

“Lidl has some good produce at good prices. Sometimes items are in odd places, but staff are happy to help you locate them. The only negative is that there are always long queues at the checks out with only 1 or 2 tills open. This isn't a particular store. It's every one I've been in no matter what time it is.”

“Always enjoy the Hollyhead road Morrisons store.
Quite often have a meal in the restaurant here. Today being saturday usually busy as we know, but today only 2 staff working there.... they did very well indeed... I have noticed they are short on staff quite often. I hope this review can help get more staff as it used to be.... the young man had worked from 10am and couldn't get his dinner break till 4ish , leaving the young lady working on her own in the kitchen ( no health and safety)...
Hope this all gets resolved quickly and normal service resumed ( as they say)...

“Very easy on a round trip from aldi to pick up the branded things you can't get. You get 30 mins free parking but it's always worth adding the extra 50p”

“Always has deliveries all over site being put out. Staff never seem happy and dont make anything personable about dealing with you. Asking any questions put them in to an attitude. Only visit if you know what you want and if you cant see it leave it.”

“Good location in retail park. Plenty of parking spaces, but getting out in peak times can be a bit of a pain. The shop itself is light, spacious and a quite calm experience, even when busy in my experience. Usual prices for a Sainsbury's. Argos inside the store is a bonus.”
