“I had an emergency with broken glasses. I needed my to find an optician at 6pm today in Harborne! I checked and saw all other opticians were closed! Luckily Loredana and Michelle, were just about to close the shop when I got there. Even though it was much after the shop closing time. Helpfully Loredana spoke with me and agree to fix the glasses which had lost a screw. As the glasses were not even originally purchased from this shop, I was surprised by Loredana's helpful attitude which resolved my problem. I will have my annual eye tests here in future. I would recommend this shop for excellent customer care.”

“I have been a customer for over 26 years at this
branch of Vision Express, moving with them from the old store into the Bull Ring. Service is very good, in fact excellent with helpful and knowledgeable staff. I have to mention both Andrew and Trudy who have been there such a long time and make your feel like family. Their knowledge is extensive and warmth and care makes the appointments a pleasant experience. Having issues at the moment with contact lense trial but by its nature trialling something new will or can be hit or miss.
I would certainly recommend them, as the choice of glasses, sunglasses etc is very good and the equipment changes, as technology changes.”

“Booked an urgent appointment as I had been having problems with vision & was advised by hospital to go for an eye test. My usual branch couldn't fit me in so booked here instead. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly & wecoming. The eye test was vey thorough & my problem was diagnosed & explained to me & is luckily easily treatable with eye drops. I have now decided to transfer to this branch for future eye tests.”

My first visit was pre-pandemic on the back of a family recommendation and I was taken aback by the quality of the service and attention to detail versus my previous experiences (sadly, only with big high street chain types). They also gave me probably the first prescription that has ever felt "right" - properly tuned to my needs and comfortable.Today was my second visit, and I continue to be delighted with the service. Simon is a very experienced, knowledgeable and talented optician, who explains every step perfectly, with a very engaging style. He's a great character, and you feel like you are totally in true "expert" hands. When you add his brilliant colleague (and resident style guru!) Pam into the mix, who makes everything tick and gives incredible, honest advice on the eyewear front, with a warm and friendly "personal service" style - they make a truly formidable team.Now I've found this hidden gem, I'm locked in as a customer, for as long as they will have me! “Absolutely professional optometrist and staff!Previously I had gone to another optical place which is wide known in the area and received a bad service overall giving me a different prescription than the ones I really needed. I have been using glasses for over 20 years so I am quite familiar with the eye exams and I can say that Panzer really took his time to see my eyes, ask me questions and listen to my concerns related to my vision. I really like the optometrist here and he was the only one noticing that I needed a prism in one of my eyes. This change in my prescription fixed my medical condition overall since I was having horrible headaches and was not able to work properly. The staff also worked on time to get my new glasses done and understood that it was an emergency for me to have them as soon as possible. Thank you all!”
