“Only came to eat, didn't stay over as local. Service was lovely, friendly and attentive. A small menu to choose from and a little bit pricy, but everything you could tell was homemade and fresh. I had the Chicken milanese, which was well seasoned and moist. My friends had different meals, steaks, burger and the pie. All which was enjoyed. Had sticky toffee pudding which was lush.”

“Pros: The check in was easy, staff were very friendly. The bar area is very nice with a good range of drinks. The breakfast was lovely.Cons: Lack of tea cups at breakfast and quite a small area for people to make their drinks. The radiator in our room was on Full the whole stay. A young lady said she would turn the boilers off, but it didn't work. The room window only opened so far and we had to sleep on the bed with no covers on. (Room 7).”

“A characterful independently run small hotel with lovely wood panelled bar, clean and comfy rooms, friendly staff and soya milk option as part of the breakfast buffet. A great find if working in Rugby- central and a Pizza Express 2 mins away.”

“Stacey was amazing, we asked for an early check-in and she managed to find a room for our family, even though she was short on housekeeping staff. Exemplary example of what customer service should be. The reception smelt amazing and the room smelt like being on an aeroplane. My first stay at Travelodge and if service is like this, I absolutely will keep coming back, thank you to all the staff❤️”

“We stayed here the night before Reggaeland as it’s only 20 mins on the train to Milton Keynes. The room was massive, clean and fresh sheets. Staff are really sweet and work so hard. It was £55 for the room plus breakfast for myself and my 2 girls. The breakfast is well worth the money and has great choices including gluten and dairy free. It’s replenished often and fresh, lovely full English and a variety of drinks, fruits and continental. The location is perfect facing the railway station and about a 15 min walk to the local shopping centre.”

“The thing with a premier inn is you know what you will get. And I like that. What I liked more on this visit is the chef for breakfast. He had some pieces of fried bread on the buffet, and asked me if the bacon was cooked to my satisfaction. Top lad. Fried bread needs to be on the menu regularly.

Issue with the room is that the toilet hadn't been flushed and there was some urine left in the bowl.”
