“My partner suggested this place to meet her after her hike. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely village and this bar and restaurant that served a delicious Sunday roast. My daughter had the small free range chicken and I had the large roast beef. I was please to be offered a choice of pink or well done. The food came, was perfectly cooked, and meat & vegetables were delicious. For desserts we had their home made ice cream which was a real treat. Interesting flavours like roast banana and burned chocolate (at least I think that’s what they were called). Staff were friendly and helpful, and the toilet was clean and tidy (always a good barometer as to how good a place is). Definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.”

“March 2024Ideal location to stay in Northampton. Close to theatre, museum, and pubs and restaurants. 2 car parks, one on each side and very reasonable overnight parking @ £2.20 or £2.70. the breakfast in the hotel was good. Help yourself continental and then an order for anything cooked. The main downside to the place was the temperature. It was so hot in the room and as usual the controls were useless. 19 was the minimum temperature, but it never got that low... The window was a single sealed unit that couldn't be opened, so no way of cooling the place down. It was very expensive too, £277 for 2 nights including breakfast.”

“Stayed here for 4 nights the rooms are really spacious and the bed must have been a king-size and nice and quiet I would happily recommend it to anyone staying a few nights and not forgetting the staff who were excellent too

“We stayed here for around a month between house moves. All of the receptionists we encountered were super helpful. We even went back after five weeks to enquire about a lost item and they produced it immediately from their lost property box. Really super people.”

“Does what it says, a lodge for travellers. Comfortable room, clean bathroom with decent shower. Couldn't hear the traffic of the busy roads because it's on the edge of an industrial estate. If people complain about a bit of dust etc then pay more and go somewhere else.

“Rooms are in standard. While it needs to be considered price difference between others, it is good place to catch a nap. Busy place. Lots of traffic. But convenient location. Happy days.”

“I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The common area had a nice atmosphere where it was easy to meet other travelers. The location is perfect — close to public transport, restaurants, and main attractions.I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!”

“A very good budget hotel. The bed was comfortable, there were charging sockets right next to the bed (never a guarantee in a Travelodge). Brilliant location with the Harvester opposite and a very easy and well signposted car parking situation. I'll definitely be looking to stay with this chain again.”
