“We used the British Heart Foundation - Rugby Shop - to undertake a house clearance. A date was arranged to assess the job. This included the house, 2 sheds, garage & 2 outhouses. I was pleasantly surprised how many of the contents could go to the shop & be sold for the charity. A quote was issued for the disposal of the remaining items and once this was accepted by us, a date was agreed for the clearance. Tom and his colleague were punctual and worked tirelessly to get what was a very big job done. Communication was great in the lead up to the day and we were very satisfied. “I went into Bensons Beds in Rugby with a definite plan to buy a certain mattress! Michelle approached us and offered to help us by showing us a particular mattress/ bed or offering us any advice. Michelle was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient (whilst I tested several mattresses out! ). She made our experience a really nice and pleasant visit and we feel confident and excited with the order I have placed for an Igel 3500i king size mattress. It was Michelle that advised me to have a lye down on the igel mattresses and I am soooo glad that she did because the regular pillow top mattress that I was going to buy felt nowhere near as comfortable! “This is my third RFK kitchen as we have been upgrading as we expand our family. Now we are downsizing and are still using RFK. The appliances they use are second to none as my 13 year old Neff dishwasher never needed any attention whatsoever when we left the last house. All units were in pristine condition too as if they had just been fitted and the new owners were very impressed with them. The care and consideration they exercise is absolutely marvellous. No wonder you are number 1”

“Very large store over 2 floors & steps (looking tired) connecting. Wheeled shopping baskets usually available.
Layout and placements a little mixed. Difficult to know where to look & end of isle placements seem a bit random.
Often lots of empty shelves. Isles a bit cramped. Prices can be mixed vs other stores. A pretty wide range of product types but as expected usually not a big selection within each type like a specialist store would have. Still useful though.
Often long queues & waiting for tills to open.
Staff OK & usually friendly but mixed as to knowing where stuff is & product knowledge.
Free parking (up to a certain time) & plenty of it but shared with other retail stores on the complex.”

They patiently helped me select the right options and clearly had excellent product knowledge. Homebase should be very proud of these individuals.”

The shop, as little as it is, is stacked with everything you need for the kitchen from more affordable items to top of the range. Fabulous selection of cake decorating items too.”

“Our son who is 12, started electric guitar lessons with Martin 9 months ago. He’d previously done a couple of grades on classical guitar through his school but one day he picked up an electric and that was that. He’s not interested in doing grades now, and we’re quite happy about that as he now plays just the music he likes and Martin’s style of teaching is so flexible that lessons flow.Martin continues to introduce him to new artists and always has a couple of gems up his sleeve but never pushes his ideas. He just goes with what chimes and of course he plays brilliantly himself so is very inspiring. They’ll work on pieces together and then sometimes have a little jam session where he encourages our son to free style. It’s all very relaxed and creative and our boy never feels like the lessons are a chore. We don’t even have to ask him to practice.We really rate Martin highly and our son’s progress has been remarkable. Martin is pleasant, punctual and fantastic value.”
