“After trying to close my account several times, spending time on the phone with no luck, Internet banking not working properly and spending time in a branch in London with no luck, a fairly simple issue was just dragging on and wasting my time. I popped into this branch to try to rectify this once and for all, and the branch manager, Ashley just got down to business and sorted it out straight away. Super efficient, super friendly, followed up with an email confirmation. I am very grateful for such great service and I'd recommend this branch 100%. Thank you!”

“Opening a new account is very easy compared to other banks. The staff is very friendly. To open an account you first need to download their mobile banking app, then create a username and password and submit the application.If it shows error then don't try to start the application again because I encountered a technical error during submission, I tried 2 more times and it kept the same error. When I finally checked my email it appeared that the attempts had created multiple bank accounts. From that I chose a reference number and gave them the details of my ID documents only to activate an account. I meanBut all other reference numbers are activated with the same details I have provided and other2 reference numbers are automatically generated as bank accounts. This banking appNever show application submission successfully so try only once. Then check your email where you will see their reference code. Submit it to the bank along with your ID proof and you will get your new account number and sort code within a few minutes.”

“Out of all the banks/building societies on the high street it's the only one that didn't try to get you out of the queue quickly before you could speak to someone with some knowledge. The lady who served me, Natalie I think, with a wonderful friendly Northern Irish accent was honest and transparent, helpful and gave me great advice to the best of her knowledge. Plus, they work a full day, rather than close early like some of the the others.”

“Hi all, I tried to leave some feedback with HSBC themselves but it didn't work. If you need anything doing at this branch you need to talk to Becky. I have previously spoken to two male members of staff here about an issue that always happens with my card renewal. (I get sent multiple cards). They have basically let me suffer with this for years and I was at the end of my tether. Becky solved the problem in about 5 minutes flat, in spite of me being very irate. Thank you Becky!”
