“We haven't been for 3 years due to lock down etc. Still the same relaxing place as always, great family running lodges, relaxing, clean, comfortable and quiet....love it and see ya next year.....new fitted out cabin, beautiful hot tub. What a place to stay”

“The Red Lion is situated in a central location, within walking distance of all amenities. Our room was clean, comfortable, pleasant and well-equipped. The Proprietors were exceptional, and could not have been more helpful, with both being personable, efficient and extremely accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful, and of an excellent standard, with local produce being used wherever possible. I would highly recommend this establishment, and will certainly be returning to stay there again in the future.”

“We weren't sure what to expect when walking into the pub as it didn't look as we expected, and then at the bar we were told the restaurant was closed due to a flood and we had to sit in the bar. But the food was amazing!! It was great value for money, nicely presented and tasted really good. I can highly recommend going for a meal here.The Horlicks creme brulee was a real treat! And we would return for that alone.”
