Lodging in Craven Arms, Shropshire

“Unbelievably good pub and restaurant. Disclaimer- i live nearby. I had takeaway fish and chips tonight and I can honestly say, best I have ever had. Less than a tenner which is cheaper than local chip ship (7 miles away). Genuinely amazing town and genuinely amazing pub and restaurant. Found the place I'd be happy to die in!”

“Just had a wonderful meal at the Swan inn, food piping hot, really tasty home cooked, we all had steak and ale pie, plenty on the plate, possibly the nicest I've had anywhere.

My daughter had the Swan burger, really good she said.

Excellent friendly attentive staff, even when we were all full up and didn't order deserts, they kindly gave my daughter a Chocolate Brownie with ice cream and a candle on the house as it was her birthday.

If we return to the area I would definitely make a point of going back to the Swan Inn

“We visited only for a drink and we fortunate with weather and timing to be able to sit outside in the sun. Gorgeous location, the restaurant menu looked great and I suspect the rooms are too.”
