9 New Bridge St“Fantastic customer service! Better than any other bank or building society. Good, old fashioned service with proper manned counters. You are warmly greeted by the clerks behind the glass and this is what more banks need people not machines! In a world full of self service and automation it's nice to just be served by real people!”

Norfolk House“Absolutely brilliant service . What lovely professional and helpful staff you have in this bank . Especially at a time when the banks phone lines are impossible .”
“Been going there for a year now for grocery shopping. Brilliant customer service from each and everyone in the store. Especially, Rob and everyone on checkout counter goes an extra mile to help customers with any assistance they need. Definitely beating the competition when it comes to customer service. Always have great deals too.”

Central Station“It's living history in this city of seven bridges. The train station is 224 years old and it is free to go into, explore and admire. The station opened in August 1850, as part of the then Newcastle & Carlisle Railway and York, Newcastle & Berwick Railway. Now it's a Grade 1 listed building located in the city's Grainger Town area, to the west of the Castle Keep. The station was noted for its complex set of diamond crossings to the east of the station which facilitated access to the High Level Bridge and northbound East Coast Main Line and was said to be the greatest such crossing in the world. The crossing was the subject of many early-1900s post cards, titled The Largest Railway Crossing in the World, photographed from the castle (towards the station), or from the station towards the castle. Trains cross the River Tyne on one of two bridges. The older High Level Bridge, south-east of the station, was designed by Robert Stephenson opened on 27 September 1849. Its location meant north-south trains had to reverse in the station to continue their journey. The King Edward VII Bridge south-west of the station opened on 10 July 1906 allowing north-south trains to continue without reversing. The two bridges enable the trackwork north and south of the river to form a complete circle, allowing trains to be turned if necessary. The former Gateshead depot next to the connecting tracks on the south side of the Tyne, mirrored Newcastle station.”
“Went in here to get some eggs (my name is Egg Cov after all), met these two nice gentlemen. Said they owned a chippy. Took me out to the back and gave me free battered sausage! Left with a fiver and the battle pass. 4/5!”
“A small branch which never seems to have many staff on. However they are always friendly and helpful. Plus the building is amusingly pretty, nice to see it still in use.”

Whitley Road“I went to ASDA this morning. I was told the checkouts didn't open until 8am (which I think should be made clear on your website).\\nHowever a lady with blond hair and glasses, and unfortunately I don't know her name, scanned all my shopping while I packed on the self-service machines. This really helped me out as I had to get back for childcare, and I thought it was excellent customer service.”
“IMO This has to be the Worst Asda I have been in ! It is hidden away off Westgate Road in a Depressing Area down a Shabby Side Street leading to an industrial estate , next to a Filthy back alleyway that never seems to get cleaned , it is in an Ugly Building that resembles an old Warehouse It is the only major Supermarket in the area & is always very busy as no other big competitors nearby all the other Shops are small Halal and East European. .I remember it was a Netto many years ago , till the big 4 forced them out of business . It is way too small to be an Asda but I think it makes huge profit's Not a very nice welcoming store for a big company like Asda. There is only 1 manned checkout that never seems to be open, only when the Ques are massive on a Weekend the rest is all self checkouts, mostly Card Only. The staff are not very helpful and look miserable there is never anyone at customer service or tobacco counter you have to call someone over. I get what I need and Glad to get out”

“Free cash machine outside, disabled parking, fully accessible and handy. The store itself is just as you'd expect, but a lot of the items I buy personally are a lot cheaper elsewhere for the same brand and quantity. Avoid if you have cats and want to feed them on the cheap as their cat food seems to be 20% more expensive than Sainsbury's. Otherwise the snack selection and food selection is really good when it is in stock. Staff are lovely, layout is decent, bakery has some lovely scran there. If given the option, give it a try.”

Hollywood Ave“Asda in Gosforth is not too big for me, they sell a variety of brands and Asda own products, unfortunately the shelves are not stocked and they are regularly empty. The music is far too loud but this is a problem in all stores as I am hard of hearing.”

110 Grey St“Compared to Barclays on nearby Northumberland St. much calmer and open spaced. Staff polite and helpful. Able to open a new current account with an hour or two (compared to Barclays er...6 WEEKS!). Only issue and this applies to all banks is how you cannot contact the actual branch, all numbers are just for generic telephone banking based in India. All banks just seem to treat their customers terribly in this regard.”
“Easy access from main road, large fueling area facilities large enough for a 44 ton truck too , toilet and wash area, Costa subway and deli available with convenience store shopping also available very nice shell station ”
“I was privileged to do my work experience at this bank and I can honestly say the people from every corner of the bank are the most lovely people. It's incredible to witness first hand a place where customer satisfaction is placed above all else and a branch that it always striving to grow and improve. Would definitely recommend!”

102 Grey St“My Journey with Lloyds bank started many years ago with Lorraine Kirk, at Colchester Branch (Essex, UK). She and the manager at the time were excellent always available for anything, even though I was a student bank then, so I thought "wouldn't be that interesting as a customer" they treatment me like I was a one of the most important customers in the branch. They were always welcoming and helpful.-Newcastle grey street Branch:Niamh Donaghy, was excellent, friendly helpful and very professional, gave me all options to an specific topic, and even stayed with me and the manager after the bank was closed. Plus she was covering a colleague that called on sick as I supposed to be seen by someone else. The manager Katie very welcoming and friendly, even though she must be busy all the time, she still comes down and speak to customers, at the same time she is paying attention to everyone working in the branch, making sure the quality is higher and higher (raising the bar all the time). Also noticed Katie that whenever any colleague ask her for help she will treat them with a lot of patience and with a calm and friendly attitude will help them do whatever it is they need to do.Finally as mentioned she also stayed until after the bank was closed to help Niamh too, very few people will do this.I mean really what else can you ask from a manager when she is constantly paying attention to everything and everyone.Went there the second time Katie came straight away to see what I needed.People like them humanized a company, you feel warm understood and you know they will do everything they can because they truly care.People like them, makes Lloyds not only a bank, in my opinion it is one of the best institutions in the world that really cares about people, either you are student, professional or whatever you do.Thanks to people like them I do trust this bank, and nothing can buy trust.Daniel Freitas”
