“We had our wedding at Gorse Hill Hotel and can only highly recommend it. We rented the separate building (we think it was called the garden suite) which was very pretty with a lovely little dance floor and outdoor marquee in front. The whole location is very pretty (at least we and all our guests loved it). The communication beforehand was super helpful and thanks again to Anna who was very friendly, supportive and answered all our 1000 questions ?At the day we had an event manager on our side to run the day smoothly. Scott, which we also want to say a big thank you, was so helpful and friendly. We loved that he was calm and in the background but at the same time always present and supportive when we needed him. All the other staff were very friendly as well. We had a buffet and all our guests loved the food and drinks.We can highly recommend the hotel as wedding venue if it fits your guests number and you love the hotel grounds as much as we did ?”

“I was very impressed with all the staff at this hotel. Their quick response to help, their friendliness, and above all professionalism. My room was spotlessly clean, so was the rest of the hotel. This was the staff in reception, the bar and the restaurant. Not forgetting the cleaning crew. Thank you for making my stay the best stay in a hotel for many years. “Lift was broken so there was only one other lift working. Not fun if you are on the 5th or 6th floor. Not sure why there are still roadworks outside the hotel since we last visited 2 years ago. Not the hotels fault but parking not as easy to get to.”

“Reception staff are great, they go the extra mile. The breakfast is fine, however it's a pity they don't have gluten free bread.The evening meal especially Arabians is love.It's a shame that the rooms aren't serviced every day, I spoke to a receptionist who said the decision was made not to service the room, however, now that we are meant to be living with Covid surely rooms should be cleaned every dayOverall a nice stay, 9 out of 10”

“Really good hotel. Every time I have stayed it has always been a positive experience. The woman who helped us during our last stay was so helpful. We stayed Saturday 11th November and the woman was manning the desks on her own but went above and beyond to help us, since we had made a mistake with our booking. So a massive thank you.Rooms: Nice and clean consistently. Usually quiet and there is a restaurant right next to the hotel if you do not wish to travel far to dine.”
