“The very best Inn we have ever stayed in! The food is absolutely top-notch. From breakfast with such choices (thoroughly recommend the cooked full english)! to the main meals. Such a variation, well priced, and exceptional. No other word can describe it . Ambience throughout was great, and the real ales were to die for. Our room was superb, as was our welcome and assistance. We met with old friends who many years ago attended our schools country annex, and what is now Peaslake House. We visited too the local store, incredible food. I cannot recommend the Inn and it's staff more Thank you for such a memorable experience. We did not want to come home..”

“Enjoyed a lovely three night stay. Room clean and comfortable and all staff were welcoming, efficient and helpful. A continental breakfast, included in room rate, would be a welcome addition. Lower price for a single room would be appreciated, especially for elderly guests.”

“Lovely staff, rooms basic but comfortable and clean. Only drawback was difficulty finding somewhere to park. Railway was very close by but not a problem with windows closed.”
