Don’t be swayed by the negative reviews! While the place may be a bit old and could use a fresh coat of paint here and there, that’s part of its charm. Yes, it can feel a little cramped, and we did have to pay £2 to store our coats in the cloakroom (though many didn’t), but it’s a small price to pay. Grab a jug... read full comment

Very poorly maintained. The loudspeakers were broken and the bar person was even unsure if there was any water available.
