Don?t be swayed by the negative reviews! While the place may be a bit old and could use a fresh coat of paint here and there, that?s part of its charm. Yes, it can feel a little cramped, and we did have to pay £2 to store our coats in the cloakroom (though many didn?t), but it?s a small price to pay. Grab a jug of beer, and you won?t need to get up too often! As for the gents? toilets, they might not be the best, but with people enjoying drinks all day, it?s understandable that they can get a bit messy. Overall, five of us had a fantastic time and shared plenty of laughs!

Is a nice place

Very poorly maintained. The loudspeakers were broken and the bar person was even unsure if there was any water available.

Generally ok but cramming 12 people to a table and them putting the tables so tight together it means you have to disrupt 2 rows of people to get in and out, even if you're super skinny. Overpriced low quality food is what you can expect. Approx 24 quid for 2 burgers and chips. 24 quid for 4 pint carlsberg pitcher. In grand scheme it's probably the norm for these events. They probably could do with someone cleaning the toilets during the event.Staff are friendly and empty glasses are swiftly collected keeping the tables nice and clear.

This place has been crying out for investment for to long. The toilets are some of the worst i have experienced. Its tired and worn and does not deserve to host the darts

A real throwback to a bygone age.Luckily Lakeside is still in business and thanks to the darts they are still around. Home to D-List celebrities and showbands.Plenty of parking on site.

On the 18th December the magnificent Boney M played the main room at Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green. This venue which is mainly known these days for the World Darts is coming back to life as one of the main Cabaret and show venues in the south of England.Boney M played for 90minutes non-stop and the set included all of their hits from ?Belfast? to ?Mary?s Boy Child?.Although the line up only has one of the original founding members (Maisie Williams) the rest of the line up hold their own and do not disappoint. Finally I need to mention the band, yes that?s right!! not a backing track in sight. It was great to see Boney M performing with a live band, who made the night. These talented musicians completed the night just proving that live entertainment is very much alive and living at Lakeside in Frimley Green.

Its a location that should have potential but no-one responds to its numerous critics - I have not read a good review anywhere so it seems to be running its self very much into the ground....

Terrible service , queued for an hour to get a drink , everyone was complaining, the music was great but spoilt as I missed first group and half the second due to waiting to get drinks ? , not enough staff

Atmosphere was great but food was rank. Chips looked and tasted like they were a day old and reheated. Hot dog bun was stale and was hard even tho it had been soked with onion water when been constructed
