“Don’t be swayed by the negative reviews! While the place may be a bit old and could use a fresh coat of paint here and there, that’s part of its charm. Yes, it can feel a little cramped, and we did have to pay £2 to store our coats in the cloakroom (though many didn’t), but it’s a small price to pay. Grab a jug of beer, and you won’t need to get up too often! As for the gents’ toilets, they might not be the best, but with people enjoying drinks all day, it’s understandable that they can get a bit messy. Overall, five of us had a fantastic time and shared plenty of laughs!”
