I hadn’t been to Halfords for years due to previous bad experience (not at this store) but it was late on a Friday and I was near Bury and didn’t know where else to go.Jason was excellent. He is passionate about bikes, offered excellent advice and tips. Was knowledgeable about what needed to be done and generally did a great service.”

“A huge thank you to the lovely ladies in Bury St Edmunds Phase 8.They all helped me in my purchase of the Blue Chain shirt dress.They suggested I went down a size and kindly ordered it to come from another store for me. It was really quick in arriving and they rang me as soon as it was in store to try on. They were spot on with their sizing suggestion, as the size down looked perfect. This is the bonus of being able to try things on in store, as if I had ordered it online, I would have now been sending it back for the size down which is all faff.. “I visited the Bury St Edmunds store today with my daughter. I purchased a fragile glass vase and went to the checkout to pay for it. We were very impressed by Marcus on the checkout. He went above and beyond when wrapping the fragile vase ensuring it was safely wrapped in bubble wrap for it’s journey home. His attention to detail and good service was superb!!!! “Took my disabled Mum to Bury St Edmunds this morning and was helped by Michelle who really was an Angel. Michelle helped Mum on and off with various coats, gilets and cardigans. Michelle was polite and so patient. I really want to say A BIG thank you Michelle for making Mums & mines shopping experience so relaxed and enjoyable. “I visited new look on the 9th of March about 4 and got chatting to a couple of the staff I asked one of the ladys advice on a outfit for a hen party. the lady grabbed loads of outfits for me and carried them to the changing room which was great as I had a pushchair she said she was going to go upstairs and get some shoes for me to try with the outfits and stayed in the changing rooms to see all the outfits and she gave me such lovely complements I unfortunately didn't get the ladys name she had red hair I just want to say she is a credit to the store and is fantastic at her job! I came away with a outfit I love and the shoes to go with it.”

“Massive shop , huge selection, Ladies in changing rooms had so much to deal with clothes being left after ppl tried them in but kept a good attitude, also when asked gave us a great local restaurant recommendation ?. Kawaii cosplay style young lady?”

“I've always felt that the staff in Bury St Edmunds M+S were very helpful and friendly. However today Jacob went above and beyond.. When I asked if I could take the trolley with my heavy bags out to my car, parked just in front of the store, he carried my bags out to the car for me. “I would like to praise the manager and his assistant.. Kieron Turner and Michelle Byrne for dealing with a difficult problem for me . I can’t thank them enough, unlike the appalling treatment I experienced at the Costessey store on tues 29th aug ,the manager was extremely rude and had no skills at all with dealing with the public . I was upset and angry with my treatment . He needs retraining.Thankfully the brilliant staff at the Bury St Edmunds branch sorted everything out five stars and thank you .”
