“Brought 2 bikes on Sunday the 17th of August totaling to £2055 to find out on the following Monday that they had both gone on offer and thought oh well these things happen i got the call to say that they were ready we came to the store on the 23rd of August to collect the bikes and the lad who served us Joal was at the front door and fair play to him he said he felt bad that the bikes went on offer the day after and told us they would refund the difference now thats top tear customer service very polite very knowledgeable thanks for the great customer service big thanks to Joal and Connor for the awesome customer service and for building the bikes for us”

“First time visit since moving to the area. I used to use the one at Mucklow Hill. They were always really knowledgeable and helpful. I wasn't surprised to find the staff here are just the same!I took a tub of paint that the previous painter decorator mixed for the hallway. I wanted the same colour but washable(we have a Springer spaniel). They took a sample and mixed an almost exact match. I've just painted the hall. It was perfect. I will be back!”

“We wanted a shop that would treat us as individuals, and be able to buy what we wanted, rather than be sold the most expensive, together with warranties that were not worth the paper they were written on. This business was exactly what we were looking for. The staff listened to us, found out what we wanted, and then pointed us in the right direction. We needed a new TV . We were given various options, with the fors and against explained in layman's terms. After choosing a TV that was ideal for us, and very reasonably priced, we chose the option of having the TV delivered and set up at home by the staff. We were asked about the base that the TV would sit on, to ensure that it would be big enough. We hadn't even thought of this, but when the TV was delivered later the same day, a conversion stand was also bought in case it was needed, which in fact it was. The TV was set up, everything explained very clearly, and we were very satisfied customers. We have nothing but praise for the service that we received. We will definitely use this business again for any electrical items that we need in the future.”

“Its got some very dedicated and committed staff who make the place tick and serve you as if you were the only person to have visited. BUT they cannot contact their other shops unless its by the same route customers use to communicate with them ie via the switchboard at that particular outlet. Now given that staff are keenly dealing with customers by telephone or in person all day long then should you have an urgent or highly demanding query or the simplest type ie do you have that item in stock at your outlet then its almost impossible to resolve it without waiting for an endless age until ( if you are lucky) someone answers in another shop or the phone is cut off.
Owning a big retail outlet and not enabling direct personal exchanges between staff???? How the hell is it so difficult to put direct lines in to enable staff to resolve queries instantly???
Its a good outlet spoiled by cheap owners or worse by indifferent owners not interested beyond making a buck from the customer who deserve much better. Very good and keen staff ,nice stock,the place is worth a visit but the management need to revisit how to run a business.”

“Yesterday 24.8.25 I visited your Brownhills store. My purchase was 12 bags of 40mm blue slate. As I'm a pensioner , I asked a young female assistant if she could perhaps ask a male employee to help me. The little dot of a girl fetched a trolley, loaded 12 bags of slate onto it, used her own till to pay so that I didn't have to queue and then proceeded to load it into my car, as a blue badge holder it was parked not too far away. “I ordered paint on delivery and when I opened the box the paint had leaked (this was the couriers fault as the packaging was great). I had an eBay order to collect, I forgot I ordered and didn't see the notification for delivery, I remembered last night and popped along to collect this morning.

The holding time expired at 0100 this morning, Gail the lady serving me found my package, was holding it but unable to let me have because it wasn't on the system. Gail the absolute legend that she is managed to relist it in the system so she could release it to us.

“A good selection of white goods and entertainment hardware, although the computer section is not as good as it once was (still missing PC World), most Curry’s fail on the computer side of things. A good selection of branded printer inks.

Staff were friendly and welcoming without being pushy. They were nearby and ready if help was needed.”
