Had to visit the one branch we have in Sheffield to use the machine to deposit money. Machine ate the money, message on screen said something about a hardware failure and then didn’t deposit into our account.
Worrying thing is, there was no indication on the machine afterwards to alert others of the issue.
Too intent with closing branches and pushing online banking. I'm transferring to Nationwide

Not a good bank. Too much of a push towards online banking and a cashless society in my opinion. They are only open from 10am-3pm most days and there is only one branch left in the city centre. I do not feel safe using this bank as i am concerned about access to cash and struggling to use digital online banking with unreasonable... read full comment
