“Very reluctant to use Boots Opticians after a bad experience at their Meadowhall branch in 2015 but have to say the staff at Boots Opticians Sheffield High St were AMAZING!!\\nFrom the actual eye test to the appointment for collection of my glasses, they were brilliant\\nFriendly, polite... nothing was too much trouble\\nTurned up for the appointments (husband had appointment as well) and no sooner had I sat down when my name was called. The eye tests were quick but very thorough ( I had retinal scan, normal standard eye scan .. and a couple of tests I won’t even attempt to name never mind try to spell ) , everything was explained clearly in a way I could understand and when it came to choosing my frames, an honest opinion was given\\nThe staff here could certainly give their partners in the Meadowhall store some lessons in good Customer Service I’d like to give a particular mention to a lady called (I think ...) CHRISTINE\\nA lovely, very personable lady who puts you at ease almost immediately\\nUpdate: Today I had to nip in to the opticians to have the arm of my glasses adjusted as it was cutting into my ear and making it sore. Even though it was a busy period and I had no appointment I was immediately seen and asaid glasses adjusted Sorry I didn’t get the name of the lady I talked to who adjusted my frames She was fabulous\\nWould definitely recommend to family \\u0026 friends\\nThank you ?\\nThank you so much An absolute pleasure z”

“Far better than my previous surgery. Yes they are busy, yes there is a queue on the phone system, yes they strongly prefer you to use the messaging system, but these are just facts of post Brexit and Covid Britain and the staff are clearly extremely busy. Cut them some slack.The place is clean and efficient whenever I have been, and if you really do need an appointment I've had no problem following the procedure and getting one within a reasonable timescale.My only real complaint in fact is that they close the online messaging system at all.. which presumably is because they just can't staff all the messages and calls so they have to limit it somehow.”
“Booked in online which was easy enough. Delay in being seen but I appreciate patient time can run over. Tests were fine though I wasn’t told what my pressure reading was at the time so asked when I returned to collect my glasses and still wasn’t told (I asked but forgot to remind them before I left).I had new lenses as my frames were fine. All appears to be good with them though they are varifocals so still getting used to them.”
