“An extremely helpful member of staff helped out me and my friend decided which books to purchase on Tuesday afternoon, and after a great discussion on Night Vale and Lovecraftian horror, we walked out with 3 new books. I wish I'd got the gentleman's name, but he's the nicest member of Waterstones staff I've ever met!”

“This is a lovely example of the Waterstones stores across the country. It’s in a great location in Meadowhall so I’m assuming it gets a good footfall.
The store is light, bright and spacious with a good range of books, but also stocking filler type items such as little planes and a range of board games.
It would be nice if there were more seating provided around the store.”

“Really nice shop to have a browse around. Bit expensive but they do have good cut price offers every now and again. Great Costa coffee in the back by the way, worth a look if you're in meadowhall anyway.”

“Small, quaint second hand bookstore in Sheffield City Centre on the main road. Very helpful young ladies at the reception. The entry is level and i faced no problems going in with a pram. Steps inside. In the front of the shop are some books, a dvd collection and a vinyl collection. Some other items as well such as containers, cups, scarves. Inside is a properly labelled section containing a decent collection of books. Nice shop.”

“Lovely staff. My partner and I bought a lot of high quality furniture from the shop, including a beautitful mid-century German vase. Fairly priced, I think. Some might say expensive, but the items are high quality and you can tell the staff take a lot of time to check and research them. We also got a few handmade, felt Christmas decorations from here, super cute! Also as an avid reader, I buy and donate a lot of my books from Broomhill Oxfam. Again, really fairly priced and always for an excellent cause :)”

“Day case surgery at Theatre Admissions Unit, Huntsman 3 on 27th Aug 2025. Outstanding care and kindness during my stay - before, during and after the surgery. Grateful thanks to Staff nurse Diana and HCA Sara, to the anaesthetic team and to Mr Peterson and his team.”

“This is considered the most advanced stationery in this area.
There are also book sales, but they are limited.
Various materials are very suitable, especially for those who deal with painting. Other than that, the materials are a bit expensive. But stationery is generally considered cheap - compared to the stationery stores around.
It has been closed for two days for an unknown reason.”

“Every now and then, exceptional service surprises us and WHSmith in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital managed just that on Saturday 13-Aug.We arrived at the store at 4pm, to find it was closing for the manager's break...the shutters were down, and the key was in the lock. The Manager, Carol, was kind enough to reopen briefly so we could grab a sandwich. The quality of the sandwiches in this store are top notch and we always find them fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, our reviewer has been several times recently whilst visiting a sick relative.Carol at WHSmith, we thank you.”
