Great pub and local enough for us to walk to. Went for carvery today and it was not good at all. I chose turkey but it was tough and hard to cut. Maybe because blunt knives were to blame! Potatoes too hard cdnt cut them . No green veg only peas. Went with family for a Sunday carvery, was busy but the servers were great, didn't seem phased at all. Carvery was really well cooked (roast potatoes were a little hard but no big deal) Great service, great food great staff. Couldn't wish for any more.
We are an independant, family owned hotel, bar & restaurant with a great reputation for food, quality drinks and comfortable hotel rooms. Plus the very best customer service. The owners have been here since 2003 and pride themselves on the long service of their amazing staff.
Parts of the bar and all of the restaurant are wheelchair friendly. The bar and hotel are very dog friendly.
