We enjoyed our stay at Mansfield castle very much. It was a very pleasant surprise considering some of the negative comments which were very unwarranted. Nice hotel with ambience and flair. Good bar and rich breakfast. Unfortunately our room - still the most important thing in the hotel - was a bitter disappointment. Cold (16 degrees), heating off, everything clammy. Flushing toilet only works to a limited extent. At just under 200 euros per night, it's far too expensive
