“Stayed at the Royal hotel for 2 weeks now, really enjoyed my stay , rooms cleaned every day , staff really helpful, food was great! As I was working away I had to leave in the early hours to go home, the staff made me a packed lunch to go home with! Would highly recommend and will be visiting again for sure ?”

“This was such a great place to stay! The food was delightful and had a great variety. The service was impeccable and everyone was so friendly! Our room was cozy and I love the color scheme. My only complaint is that it is time for new mattresses. The bar was charming and the grounds were well kept. They even have a castle cat named Lucky.”

“We had originally booked into the sister hotel (Mansfield Castle), but due to renovations (seems to be an on going issue).The hotel is a bit tired, and stuck ion the 90's, it would have been amazing to have seen it in its prime. The rooms are dated as well, however ours was really clean and everything seemed to work and be in good order. The staff were also really friendly and helpful.”
