“A super wee hotel, very quirky. I was shown to my room by the mannie behind the bar, it's the smallest room I've ever seen but it did me nicely as a single guest. The windows made a great job shutting out the traffic noise of the A96 you couldn't hear a thing) I was told the TV was brand new but I couldn't get it working and the wifi password didn't work for me (but they aren't essential as I wasn't in the room for that long). There was a lovely wifie (Evelyn) who was making the rooms and cleaning, I had a lovely chat with her both mornings. Breakfast was continental downstairs which was a simple affair, toast cereal, drinks and a few extras. I look forward to returning again.”

“Unbelievable service, incredibly delicious food, and a courteous, kind, and attentive staff! I'd like to especially highlight the exceptional kindness of the receptionist — who is also one of the owners — she exceeded all expectations.
Thank you!”

“A luxury hotel in the middle of the Caingorms mountains. The style is a bit mixed. Not only Victorian but also others, such as Art Deco. Great stuff like two Picasso, close to modern architecture objects not part of the ascottish tradition. Comfortable rooms, but two floors have a roof that is a bit low. I find it a bit overpriced.”
